I.don't get it, we knew the dangers of starting slowly.

It's not just tactical from Palace either as to why we're laborious, we arnt moving the ball quickly enough and our movement hasn't been good enough all equating to a lack of tempo thats making it easy for palace to execute their game plan.

We always seem.to play into the oppositions hands in.these games.

Tripper on for Aurier and up the tempo.

At the moment, he is very underwhelming, but I have confidence that Poch will improve him.
Really ?! He’s had a few really good games, away at Madrid, Home to l-pool. The whole team is shit today not just him. He’s a good player Palace just making it difficult and we started too slowly as I expected we would.

Still mystifies me how sissoko is a footballer. He has zero technical ability. Amazing that we're in a position that he is starting games for us.
And we took 4 points off Real Madrid with him playing the majority of minutes! It's some proper fucking bizarro world shit.

I think winks has got a lot of potential but his first thought is generally backwards or just be a wall pass. He's got the ability but he needs to take the ball more on the half turn.

Son has been at his bumbling best/worst yet it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he was the one to break the deadlock.

Need to be patient as Palace, who've invariably defended well, will drop back further so getting Winks and Eriksen on the ball looking for the runs of Rose and Aurier is going to be key to unlocking a stubborn side with little intent.

Dembele for Sissoko would be a change i'd advocate as he's offering very little down the right flank.

Surely Dembele can play for a half? Need someone to carry the ball from deep

If this team wants to make a title push, then they can't drop points today. People can talk about how it's early, but you're not easily making up potentially 12 points on this current City squad who have started better than any other team in Prem history through 10 matches (I think they'll hammer Arsenal today). Frankly, even a draw today leaves us only 2 points clear of Liverpool in 6th, which would be a disappointment. We really need a top 3 finish, at the least, again this season.

Get Dembele on for a bit of vigor and bring on Llorente for an extra outlet up front for crosses to target. Huge 45 minutes here for our league campaign.

Just not doing enough as it stands. Whatever the possession stats might say all our play has been in the middle of the park and then down the flanks. We haven't nearly enough posed them questions in and around the penalty area.

Son has been awful in that half. Sissoko, well, this is one of those games where he doesn't get points for work rate and get swept along by a heroic team display - we're just seeing his extraordinary clumsiness in that 45 mins. Kane hasn't been much better.

On the positive side, Dier had a very solid half, and Rose had a good half hour but looks a bit knackered already.

Just need more in most facets of the game really.

That is not the worst 45 mins of the season - Sorry all - you were not at Wembley v west ham a couple of weeks ago for that 2nd half???

But, it was a shit 45 albeit I am sure we will hear "I am proud of the team, we are playing well, just cant score" same old story - lets hope we get a goal in that 2nd half or its gonna be a long 2 weeks

This is a team that have conceded a lot of goals to teams a lot shitter than us, so it is embarrassing. If Kane is injured, get him off as yes we need him but not half fit

Winks looks shattered. Eriksen looks half asleep. Kane looks injured. Rose looks not fully fit. Aurier has been awful. Son has been even worse. Hard to see us getting any rhythm going today, gonna need a random worldie to win this I think.

I get that we need to rotate, but why is it always Tripps that gets dropped for Aurier every other game. He's been one of our most in form players all season, and when we drop him we lose a bit of calm and class in my opinion.

I’m genuinely at a loss to understand how they could perform like that knowing that after this game, 4 of our title rivals are playing eachother.

Sissoko is doing OK in a Sissoko kind of way
He gets such an easy ride on here.people seem to think hes doing well because hes passsd a couple of balls square and not constantly given it away.not sure what he is good at.decent engine maybe.strong.ok hold up play but certainly dont have an once of creativity in his bones.
