I get that we need to rotate, but why is it always Tripps that gets dropped for Aurier every other game. He's been one of our most in form players all season, and when we drop him we lose a bit of calm and class in my opinion.

For the same reasons - walker and tripps swapped last year constantly, and walker got the hump and left...

Just began reading this thread from the beginning.. I’ve seen some stupid posts on here in match day threads before but blimey this ones impressive.

People slagging off Gazzaniga and saying he’s rubbish etc. I doubt they have ever seen him play. How about try supporting your team and getting behind it’s players?

Fucking bed wetters.

Hangover after Real Madrid. The fact that Dier has been our stand out player says it all so far. Llorente on for Son (although Son will probably score in a game like this). Rose is in acres of space all of the time and we need to exploit that by switching quicker.

Dull half, but we're in control. Plenty of signs that we can get through them but going wide and crossing in is tough due to how tight they are to us.

Gonna be a flash of inspiration or a slice of luck that wins this. If we can get through in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half I will stand by my prediction.

Sissoko has won me over quite a lot of late, but is he really the player we need at home to Palace to try and unlock them?

Dembele must be more crocked than we know as we're crying out for him to help disrupt their lines by taking some players on.

We beat Huddersfield and Liverpool off the back of our last two CL games. Both teams wanted to play against us allowing for space to counter.

Palace are sitting deep, have spent a week working on frustrating us and it has worked. They have come for a 1-0 win or a 0-0 draw.

We either let them have the ball and come on to us or we go press them. Slowing the game down and playing in front of them only plays into their hands.

Whilst I do believe Llorente was a good signing in the summer - I have lived the look of Tammy Abraham - maybe a sneaky wee bid in January to lock him into Spurs next season might be a wee trick... When Kane is struggling with fitness we only have one option - who is not quick at all to stretch teams.

Any other throughts about a potential striker to alleviate pressure?

Need more tempo especially in the engine room, middle of the park. Bring on Dembele get him and Winks to press and distribute.

If nothing changes 10/15 minutes in bring on Llorente for Son and Dembele for Sissoko.

I’ve been in the garden playing with my dog Hugo for pretty much the entire first half, (got my priorities right) I think I might go back out.

First home game I’ve missed, there are some right miserable gits on here. Dier and Winks have been excellent.
We will win.

He's Chelsea's, so I imagine any chance of a deal is slim to none.
