good nights work - confidence for the team, wembley jinx knocked out, more games for the young lads/ squad in the new year and Winks education continues in a good fashion

Looking at the teams dropping out of the CL and the teams progressing in the EL...maybe i'm biased...but were comfortably the best team in it.

Cska were shit but eriksen really carried on that form. Creative juices flowing. Kane was next best with some great passing of his own.

CSKA Moscow were one of the most inept teams I've seen so we can't jump the gun here... I think the manure game is the acid test.

Also don't forget as inept as CSKA were, they still had two or three opportunities which is concerning

Dead rubber. But still a much needed win. Well done boys. Now go smash Manure

Not dead for us if we wanted Europa.

We weren't great, especially defensively, but we got the job done & scored some nice goals & probably should have had more.

Some good football tonight.

Hopefully the last few weeks were just our period of bad form that every team goes through at some stage during a season. Seeing Toby & Kane back in the squad immediately reassures me.

I really haven't enjoyed the champions league. Not convinced it's any more enjoyable than the europa league based on recent seasons.
