Underrated by whom? I believe, despite most preferred starting lineups on here, that we all have agreed that Winks is our best passer out of our CM options. Miles ahead of Dembele, Wanyama, Dier and so forth.

He wasn't MOTM as I think Eriksen derseves it with his decisive play, but Winks gets a runner up as he just kept the ball moving which exactly what that position is supposed to do.
Winks was very good, Dier not so.

Looking at the teams left in the Europa league including those 3rd placed Champions League teams.. if we can't win it this year, we will never win it

Can some on here not just enjoy Tottenham winning. It's really boring every time we play. If we lost the team would get slated. We win, 'well they're crap init'. It's not even constructive. It's reactionary guff. How anyone could watch another match instead of watching our beloved Tottenham blows my mind. Some even wanted us to throw the game! I mean seriously???
I honestly believe that we could win the double, and we would still get abuse. Modern football 'fans' are a joke.
I bet even RAWK think we're dysfunctional.

It's pretty much just the given on here in this sort of thread. We have people who will actively support the team we are playing if they think the outcome of the opposition winning would suit us better.

They say we need a winning mentality to do well in the champions league, then hope we throw games so we don't have to participate in competitions. It's pathetic.

As you say, even a win is greeted with "yeah but so and so didn't play well" "we didn't score enough goals". I said in another thread the other day, we could win the champions league and people would still moan about the shade of green on the pitch when we did.

I'm sure it's not just Spurs, I'm sure all clubs have this minority of pathetic sunshine 'fans'.

Sadly due to Wembley being shite to get out of on match days, I had to bunk at 85. Still took me an hour to get out
Ride a bicycle, or e-bike. Most Londoners could ride home from Wembley in an hour and a half at most, probably much less.

I missed the rush by staying till the end...

Got a nice uninterupted walk all the way to Wembley Park without stopping (busy once getting past ticket barriers) jumped on a train straight away (even getting to sit down) and was at St Panc by 22:30 (y)

I hopped home...I was overtaken on the north circ by a couple of lads skipping the sneaky fucks!

I don't think our group helped the buzz of being in the CL. those teams ( by name not ability ) wouldn't look out of place in the Europa.

When we were in it last we had Inter Milan who were not a bad team. that got me buzzed.....

I think that's been the problem. Plus Leicester have walked their group and I don't think that's helped. Our group was always harder than theirs but I still think we should have qualified.

Edit: I just saw Leicester lost five nil. They qualified though'

We were in pot 3 when the initial draw was made and we finished in 3rd place.

In fact we were in the only group where a team from outside pots 1 & 2 made it past the group stage.

And as we are one of the best 3rd placed teams we will be seeded on Monday, so that's a plus.
