I felt it was an exciting game and overall we played well, particularly the defense. Everton basically parked the bus and the affect of players like Lukaku and Barry was totally limited. We were let down by poor finishing, particularly Kane and Chadli, and an embarrassment of a referee who gave all 50/50 decisions to Everton.

Ive never seen a more useless pacey full back in attack in my life. Tired of Walker. I really am. Sell him please. Have Trippier and Yedlin at RB. Also can use Dier, who adds more in attack that Walker from the right too.

Poch is utterly clueless. "Can't score for shit. Okay lets wait 85' to bring in another attacker." Why werent Lamela and Pritchard both brought on around the 60'? Mindboggling.

Absolutely no pace or leadership in the side. Maybe instead of going on the younger side for a DM go for an experienced player with some leadership qualities? Would really go a looooong way. We need about 2 strikers too, IMO. Also need to spend multiple training sessions on finishing.

Dier and Dembele in the middle for me. Mason is one of those players that could be good, if he wasn't missing a couple of important things. We've had lots of them over the years. He shouldn't be missing from 6 yards in that manner.

Dier is the only central midfielder in the squad who's performing consistent currently.

I think the last 25 mins proved that Ali needs to start next match ahead of Mason. Kept getting into the area.

And Dier did have a good game, but too many occasions he had a chance to slot a pass through but went for backwards/sideways option instead. I think this is the difference between Dier and Schneiderlin/Moutinho (they can do both)
