Don't think there was a massive reason to change things though. Creating chances was not the problem and there was no one to bring on to nick us a goal.

Had Son or another striker been there then I think he would have done.

Pritchard should have come on earlier. We didn't look like scoring for the most part, imo. Poch only makes subs when forced, I.e. Through injury. Chadli was playing like Emile Heskey's less talented cousin and played the 90 mins. If we aren't making the breakthrough, he needs to start influencing games from the bench.

Still far from convinced by Poch. Don't want him sacked as it's pointless, but he just doesn't seem to have a plan B and his plan A isn't that good.

The east stand is full of middle aged season ticket holders who just winge and moan the whole game. Some are borderline lunatics.

Feel your pain Stov.
I and a mate were in the East stand at the end of last season - I swear we were the only ones singing, people turning looking at us as if we were mad!!
Boring mofos lol

verts' ball out to rose was great moment as well. We really have some good passers of the ball. We forget how young this squad is. With the added pace of Son, Njie and hopefully Berainho, we should have the final dimension to our attack.

Alli looked strong even though he was on the wing. Similar to Dembele in a sense, but really looks to drive forward into the box. Wanted to see more pf Pritchard really, but just need to be patient - i really thght we were going to get a freekick and he would smash it, but the ref only wanted to award those decisions to Everton.
I take your point. But.... By leaving it so late in the transfer market the Champions League boat has already sailed.

Probably been mentioned but it's a fucking joke we've only 1 striker at the club. There can't be another professional football club in England with only 1 striker.

It's farcical.
Expand that to Europe and amateur football

If we want to play young players, play some of our own, from the youth teams, we have to be patient with it. That means results like today. We need someone to take load of Kane or with him. And I'd rather see someone creative on the middle than a Wanyama type

It's not just results like today, though. The last 3 games were easily winnable. We should be on 9 points now in my opinion.

im not even sure that boat had ever docked. :D

Who knows. Chelsea are a point ahead of us, and the premier league with all this money is getting more and more competitive with more lower clubs taken points off the top boys. I doubt we will make it, but im not going to rule it out in August.

He isn't a Plan B type manager. Like Wenger, he has a style of play he likes to adhere to because he believes that is what will bring results over a long term rather than endlessly chopping and changing and trying different things.

Convinced we don't need Wanyama after today's performance from Dier but an experienced creative deep lying central midfielder who will receive the ball under pressure and keep hold of it would be beneficial

Chadli was poor I agree but if there is anyone that can grab you a goal it's him.

With Son, Clinton and hopefully another striker we should have the luxury of being able to take him off more if he's not on his game.

Maybe it'll all eventually click together. I hope so, as I like enjoying watching Spurs play - but enjoying it is a rarity lately.

I'm far from wanting him out, but I'm going to voice my concerns. The happy-clappers can neg all they like.

Yes but we won't get that not buying players in time and playing players in positions they aren't used to, dier, dembele. Also the likes of Ali,Prichard have never played keen footie. You could say Chelsea should have 10 points,
Or Liverpool should beat West Ham at home? It's early season, things will get better

I'd say we keep giving that experience to Bentalab, hard to believe that he's 20.

I see saw many positives in this game.
Rose looks as sold as ever on LB.
Jan and Toby seem to be forming a stong CB pairing.
Dier was a monster as DM.
Kane, even though he didn't score, got on the end of a few chances (but yes he did miss sitters).
Bentaleb was good again.
Mason did well in his advanced position (minus was the huge chance he missed as well as the lesser chances he missed).
Alli yet again proved that he can more than hold his own in the EPL.
Chadli was a threat and created trouble for Coleman which prevented Coleman from making all those dangerous runs he usually does against Spurs.
Spurs created plenty of chances (twice players - Mason and Kane - were alone with the goalie) and should have scored 2-3 from those chances.
It is very disappointing of course not to be able to finish off Evertion (as well as throwing away wins in the 2 previous games) but the signs look promising, and it will get better once Son and Njie gels with team.

2 more players in and we will be completely ready for a top 4 finish. I know it should have been done before now but it's the way it is.

A lot of disagrees. However, fully agree with poch not using subs enough. After 60 min it was obvious we needed a change. Its been the same the entire season

My thoughts exactly!

In a pub after game, I thought we played well, some positives today Dier was excellent. We are a very young side so it might take a while to see this side reach its potential. One thing is when the crowd get loud and behind the team it does help, really want to hear the lane rocking alot more!

Get Eriksen back and the new signings in and we will improve I feel.
