I missed the one unmissable game this season :(

Still over the moon we won. We have to take this momentum into the Wigan game and solidify our intent. It's not all over as far as direct qualification goes.

7 crucial minutes at The Lane and 7 crucial seconds at Anfield. Suarez may be a toothy madman but wow what a forward pairing he'd make with Bale next season.

The thing that sticks with me is that Bale aside, all our left footers are so one-footed that their right feet are literally only for standing on; Benny, Moose, Holtby. I think Verts is a bit more two footed but even he massively favours his left. They all need summer practise working on their right foot.

Do you think that anyone cares less what you think? You don't speak for the forum you know. People are entitled to their opinions. Before today's amazing result it did look like our chances of finishing 4th were shite. To be fair, there's still a long way to go yet! Is this pessimistic or just a realistic assessment? We can't all be on whatever happy pills for morons that you seem to be on. Lol

I wish I did have happy pills for morons, I'm sure my life would be much better.

I was just making the point that the way people have been carrying on recently with such extreme negativity you'd think that the whole world was about to collapse around us. I don't agree that our chances of 4th were shite before today, they were still perfectly reasonable. And yes, there's a long way to go yet, for us and the other teams, hence I'm not making any assumptions that we'll finish 3rd/4th despite that good result.

And don't you think that "Do you think that anyone cares less what you think? You don't speak for the forum you know" and "People are entitled to their opinions" are just a tad contradictory?

Bale playing off the right as he did towards the end instead of as a LW or AM is interesting. It's how I play him in FIFA (you're welcome AVB) as an RF with Ade central and Lennon as a LF all narrow. Then a tight three of Sandro, Dembele and Hotlby int he middle and the fullbacks making the width.

Not sure what my point is.

Hmmm.. FIFATIME!

Big couple of very winnable games coming up for us, if we do win them we will be 3rd.

One of the two scums are going to hit the wall over the next 2 weeks. Both have Utd but also I fancy either Swansea or QPR to do us a big favour.

Just looked back over the records and Bale's now on 12 goals and 3 assists in the last 13 PL games, 15 goals and 5 assists in 17 games if you include Europa.

If he can get a goal a game for the rest of the season he should catch Suarez who I would hope won't play again this season.

Would be amazing if he got the golden boot, plus I win 500 quid.

Well, well, well. This game has made my complete weekend and I am so buzzing after today's game. As usual, we try to make things as hard for ourselves as possible by giving a goal away after the 4th minute (That **** Nasri of all people to score it). I really don't know what's happened to Assou-Ekotto... he was literally no where to be seen and he just gave up chasing Milner, who to be fair put a great ball in to be tapped in. However, I think we were fantastic to go on and win a game which I thought was scrappy until the last 25 minutes.

Dempsey won pretty much every header which he battled for and he worked his arse off. I thought Bale was quite quiet until the substitutions were made and I must add, AVB's subs were spot on today! Huddelstone back to what we used to see of him, pinging countless balls here, there and everywhere and a bit of class from Holtby to set up our 3rd sub Defoe. All three subs were involved in the goals! Defoe's goal was just a typical Defoe goal and Bale just rubbed it in their faces with a quality, tidy finish over Hart to finish it off.

I think Huddlestone deserves a start against Wigan, he's changed the last few games after coming on as a sub and personally I haven't thought much of Dembele recently. Why not? A MASSIVE 3 points today which could prove decisive in our season! Loved Suarez banging in a 96th minute equaliser against the chavs to keep us within touching distance now! I'm going to the next two league games so i'm hoping for a similar result as today!

And by the way, do I share the same opinion as anyone else over Alan Sugar? What a complete and utter dick 'AVB is no tactician' 'Tottenham are going to choke' Fuck off you uneducated, old fart. Support the club or fuck off. COYS - AVB's Blue & White Army!!

No matter how many times I see the incident, I don't know how Nasri was not sent off, yes I know Benni got away with one but a earlier red would have changed the game.

It's also good to see us win without the help from the officials.

we always have to win without help from the officials. if we had the protection that the current 4 above us get, we'd walk the league by 20 points.

Finally watching the game on MOTD 2, now. :)

The atmosphere I heard on the radio is so electric on TV.
