The following will be uttered at least 50 times when tomorrow's team is announced.

Where's Lamela?

No Lamela?

Not looking good for Lamela is it?

Be prepared. Have the above comments from Sherwood ready to quote. At least 50 times :D

And at least one person will start complaining around the 70 minute mark that we should have brought him on as a sub by now.

This is on bluemoon, in their "opposition view" section, so it's a quote from Cartilage Free Captain:

Your Achilles heel?

Our Achilles heel right now is defense, and it's primarily due to injury. Our top two defenders, Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul, have been out for months with injuries. They're both back in training, but it's meant that we've needed to start Michael Dawson and Vlad Chiriches in central defense, and while both are stalwart servants to the club, neither are particularly pacy and are both vulnerable to speedy defenders and balls over the top when we play our high defensive line.

Is there a less accurate description of a player possible?

Stalwart servant? He's been here 6 months :ROFLMAO:

And not particularly pacey? This guy is about as quick as centre backs get!

Must have judged his speed from that pissed video.

We are unbeaten in six league games so this is the meeting of the Prem's two form teams; may be closer than some people think.
Come on lets do our neighbours a favour.:)

Here's the team for tomorrow.

Lloris
Walker Dawson Chiriches Rose
Lennon Bentaleb Dembele Eriksen
Adebayor Soldado

;)

Ok, in all seriousness...

I really hope Sandro, Paulinho and Vertonghen are fit. We need them to play. I'd go 5 in the midfield with Sandro and Paulinho in for Bentaleb. He's done a good job, but him against City? I dont know...

Really sucks that Lamela and Andros arent fit for this game.

The trainers really need to get their stuff together with the hamstring strains. They seem to be lingering alot longer than normal.

Hoping for at least a draw tomorrow. I'll probably miss most of it, if not all, since I have class at 3. Hopefully I dont come back to an absolute bloodbath being happy I missed it. Wanna be full of regret that I skipped monday's class so I couldnt skip tomorrows when I get back. Come On You Spurs!

Don't see TS dropping Sherwood regardless of his ability or likelihood to get done the whole game. Hope it hasn't become a case of not being able to drop him due to his being club captain and a supposed 'big personality' in the dressing room.

Takes a big man to drop himself. Even more so after making himself captain.

Got a feeling we'll get something out of this even though most outsiders don't give us a chance.

I really do not want to put a dampner - But I really do not see us getting anything out of this. We are going to get out musceled if he goes for a 4-4-2... Now I rather he goes for 4-3-3 With Dembele/Paulinho/SANDRO.... We may have a chance. But Aguero/Silva and Negrado are looking very good.. Should be a great game for the neutral...

Can't see Jan starting...he's been out for two months. Don't think Sandro will either.

Paulinho might be the one who comes in for Chadli.

What do you think about midfield three of Sandro, Dembele and Paulinho (playing as CAM)? Eriksen on the left.

Agree but I'd take gamble on verts or kaboul up against negrodo or aguero - they going to have fun with daws it's not going to be funny

Bentaleb, Dembele and Paulinho pushing forward to support Adebayor - Lennon and Eriksen either side.
