Carroll would have got 2 or 3 today from what I saw of Crouch, hope this convinces Levy to get on the phone to Ashley

For pointing out that we were crap going forward .... maybe you didn't watch the game.

Everyone else has remarked that our attacking wasn't good enough ... you going to criticise them too? Wank*r.

That shows what you really are!

Modric was unbelievable though, all class. And an honourable mention to Benni who had nani and rooney in his back pocket

I think this shows just how far we have come. It was Man Utd's best team vs (arguably) our best team and we completely out played them. I agree we could do with a top quality striker but, at the moment, so could Utd, Chelsea and The Scum. City are the only team with a top class striker atm.

I think Utd going down to 10 men actually hindered us slightly, we were better when they were coming at us more and we had more space in the final third.

All in all I thought it was a performance to give us a lot of hope and heart for the remainder of the season. Play like that most weeks and we'll finish top 4.

Looking like we'll have to win the champions league this year to be in it next season.

you can't create chances for someone who doesnt move, and he won nothing airily all match, ferdinad and vidic owned him all game, cant believe he was kept on

Harry not quite brave enough today imo. The last half hour pedestrian. Defoe needed to be given a proper run in that time.

Anyway, great performance and we're very unfortunate not to win!

This. Wasted opportunity but we played well and totally dominated the second half (even before the sending off). Man U defended well. If we can play like this and get a little luck we will get 4th or higher.

Deserved three points today, was a great team effort and we were better than them throughout.

Think some people are over-reacting, yes we do need a new striker in an ideal world but Utd were excellent defensively, led by Vidic in this effort. They defended deep (especially when down to 10 men) not allowing us to get in behind and forcing us to play crosses into the box. For all Crouch's limitations he is the only one who could offer us an aerial option at the end so its easy to defend when you know where its going.

The way Utd were making us play we should have bought Pav on instead of Defoe really to offer another aerial option, or maybe more radically stuck Dawson upfront for the last 5-10 mins.

Its still a good point and we are well in the hunt for 4th place, even if the Title now looks a bit beyond us.

COYS.

Disappointed with result, they were there for the taking today. Vidic was their saviour.
How did Crouch manage 90 mins?
Modric is our heartbeat, irreplaceable.
Hutton & Gallas great.
Everyone else good.

Yeah, for pointing out that Bale's crossing was poor, Crouch was abysmal and Van der Vaart wasteful with free kicks? hmmm yh ...

I don't know if you noticed but I also pointed out how well we defended.

We looked a solid unit, Gomes made some good saves .... bit like the old Gomes :)

just disappointed that Redknapp didn't mix it up when it was clear our forward line was firing blanks.

for fucks sake guys, we played incredibly and should've won the game, they had a player sent off and you're all complaining about Harry and Crouch?

No ref to blame so go for Crouch and Harry... classy guys, wonder why other clubs think our fans are a joke.

Crouch didn't play that badly btw, and Harry made us outplay Man U.

On a side not, Modric was fantastic. Unbelievable. Best non-scoring performance I've seen from any player in the world this season.

Crouch should have come off for Defoe at 60 mins

If we had Berbatov or Rooney in our team we win

Crouch was awful, it was poor from Harry to keep him on.

Defoe should of been on much sooner, probably 75 mins sooner.

It was really dissapointing seeing the lack of chances we created with the man advantage..

The main reason we didn't score today wasn't Harry or crouch, it was because Man Utd have an absolutely rock solid defense

So any need for the language, or can you not count to 10?

Crouch was not amazing by any stretch of the imagination and your views are somewhat exaggerated.
