The change of coaching set up will take time.

The loss of King, and Van der Vaart are big blows. We've lost a centre half the likes of which we may never see again and a player who (although there were question marks over his fitness) knew how to move and get the ball forward productively.

I am sure having no Parker and no Modric on the field is also a problem, as is the lack of big man up front.

We need to be patient. Yes, it is shit after the last 3 years... I know, but things were always going to get worse before they got better following last season.
