We look like Ramos's team in 2008 and even worse than the Chelsea team this time last year! Awful performance. Can someone remind me what exactly was wrong with a team that played fantastic football and consistently challenged for the top four, to warrant sacking the manager?

We threw away a massive lead over fourth and thus missed Champions League football one year after a similarly disastrous run of games again cost us Champions League football; our best player wanted to leave last year and again this year which he wouldn't have necessarily wanted to do had we moved on from the massive success of finishing fourth with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in decline; the transfer policy was short termist at best and barely ever improved the Club (financially or staff wise); and the manager spent a good chunk of his time declaring to the media his interest in another job - going so far as to turn down contract talks before Hodgson was appointed only to want a new contract when he didn't get his dream job. Always strikes me as odd that the same people who claim to hate Modric can't see anything wrong with Redknapp trying to do a similar thing.

But no, let's ignore facts and hate the new guy - sounds much more productive.

he is fucking useless mate, a lot of people give him a free pass because he is from the youth team, but if we bought him he would be getting the Jenas treatment to the power of 20. Christ at least JJ scored an average of 4 or 5 goals per season

If you watched the game against Norwich in March you would undserstand the comment

It sounds like Dembele was positive when brought on, and adding to the scoresheet is also a bonus. When we no longer have to start with 2 defensive mids (particularly Livermore) or Parker in his place, we may be able to build our rythm up again.

Lurker here. What bothers me the most is that it seems that HR is coming of as a better footballing tactician than AVB. Atleast he understood the limitations of his players #whydefoewasbenchedlastyear. Hope I'm wrong, still have faith in avb to turn it around.
