All the DMs are not good enough so we should just go with an attacking midfield which offers balance with Bale being left-footed and far better as LW, which was where Jol played him. We may be vulnerable defensively but at least we will create more chances.

The one thing I'm worried about is Harry going for a negative formation again like at Wigan, which I believe was a main contributing factor to our loss.

Midfield of Lennon, Zokora, Modric and O'Hara for me. (I think I'd put Gunter at RB and Corluka at LB). Rest of the team picks itself

Looking at the table, is it fair to say we want a draw or even a Spammer win in the early game? They're on the same points as Fulham but Fulham have two games in hand so we really don't want them getting too far ahead.

I'd play BAE at the back and play O'hara on the wing. Zokora for JJ (why?!). Lennon or Bentley is a tough decision both would probably play better coming of the bench. Bent is by far the biggest goal threat and was linking up well with Pav before. Defoe to come off the bench if they're not working.

I think the problem was we weren't used to it more than it was negative. I don't think it suited Modric who is our most creative player. I think he was mistaken starting with Defoe either, I think he needed to earn a place rather than automatically get it.
