too defensive

I don't understand how that makes us more defensive. Surely it frees up our attacking players and gives them more license to cause havoc whilst not having to have quite the same defensive responsibility that they have without Sandro and Parker. To me, playing them both would be a very positive and attacking move.

I was wondering this too. I think if we're playing 4-4-2 the default midfield should be:

Modric---Parker---Sandro---Lennon.

I just think 2 wingers and Modric in the middle leaves us open.

Modric hates playing on the right.

If we play a proper 4-2-3-1, with vdV making up the 3rd CM when needed, it could work perfectly:

----Parker----Modric

Lennon----vdV----Bale

Spurs 2 QPR 1

Won't be easy, and won't be a thumping.

Come on Welshie

Strongest team we have put out in years. QPR on back of 6-0 thumping at Fulham will probably result in a defensive approach, but we should still have them. 2-0 half time. 4-0 fulltime.

Hope more than expectation mind you

That still leaves Sandro on the bench.

The fact is, someone has to sit out from time to time.

Harsh facts of playing for a top4 side!
