That change is the return of Ledley King in central defence for Seb Bassong. Ledley captains the team.

Friedel; Walker; Kaboul; King; Assou-Ekotto; Lennon; Parker; Modric; Bale; Van der Vaart; Adebayor

Can only assume Sandro is not fully fit and I hope Lennon sparks into life today and not the passenger he has been of late.

Fantastic that Ledley is there and that back four should handle anything QPR can throw at us, Adel Taarabt 'n all!

Very strong team. I feel a bit sorry for Sandro but I think the majority is correct; you can't start with Sandro and Parker at home to QPR.

I'm not Defoe's biggest fan at all; I don't think he has got enough craft in his finishing, but you have to feel a little sorry for him as well. He has done quite well recently and really probably should start; if only VDV would put a shift in on the right when we haven't got the ball I think we could fit him in.
