I bet the Daily Sport are camped outside Bentaleb's house trying to get hold of the secrets he has on Sherwood...

People keep saying this but for me Bentaleb isn't the inclusion that baffles logic- it's Aaron 'the invisible man' Lennon with his bucketload of goals/assists (zero). Bentaleb has had some very good games this season and is only very young- Lennon hasnt played well once all year IMO and contributes literally nothing to the team

I really didn't enjoy that game. First half was horrible to watch as were the last 15 bar the goal. But I don't care, can hold my head up high when I walk into work tomorrow!

It was exciting yes we had some shit moments but at times we clicked so well. Nice interplay and it seemed we knew what we were doing, this could be Stella talking right enough.

Just wanted to challenge ourselves it seems, the team always knew they could comeback... :cautious:

Not perfect by any means, and still a truckload of work to do, but some encouraging individual performances and at least the last three games they have shown some heart and fight instead of accepting defeat.

A good and fair acid test.
I think 3-2 against a very good Southampton team and us beating them 3-2 at their place is a fair reflection as to where this current Spurs team is.
To think we're anything but much better than Southampton is delusional.
To think we're anything close to a top 4 spot this season is madness.
Everton and Man Utd will probably both surpass us come the end of May.
We're very much a rookie team with a rookie manager - can he take us further? I don't know.
But fair play today for turning it around.
You can't doubt that the players are playing for Tim.
But we're obviously short on real quality players and a settled team or style.
I think Chadli, Eriksen and even Soldado can still get better and better.
I don't think Rose, Naughton, Bentaleb, Lennon, Townsend will ever get better than being squad players.
I think defensively we're a million miles from having a solid and impregnable back 4.
I wouldn't mind a Lallana a Rodriguez or a Shaw in our team.
A good result to cheer up me Sunday - but much work to do!

Soldado played the lone forward role excellently today. Eriksen should have scored another from that fabulous lay off in the first half.

Also love it when he dropped to his knees after Siggy's winner. Just like after Sandro scored against United.
