The leveler was lucky, and agree he has been poor. But we have no game plan against teams who defend narrow. We need Son or Chadli playing wide left i think.

Yeah deffinatley, lamela and eriksen in the team doesnt really work at home imo, and id keep lamela in the team all day long at the moment

Right i understand. Well he has scored 2 in the last 3 games, what has the rest of the team done? Absolute nothing. Instead you still whine about him all along. It's pathetic.

Goals aren't everything, he gave the ball away twice that led them up the pitch to get their goal. Watch the whole game, not the one thing he's done right.

I'm not convinced playing Dier in that CDM/CB role is the way to go at home against a side that has shipped the most goals in the league. I'd happily go balls out and bring on Son or Onomah for Dier and push Eriksen or Alli alongside Dembele. It's obvious that Sunderland aren't fucked in the slightest about playing football, lets get at them.

After Eriksen pulled his socks up after goal, think son for Lamella may bring more of a goal threat

70% possession, means fuck all as we do nothing with it..

Son has to come off to offer some movement off the shoulder

15 - 3 on attempts looks great but it's irrelevant if you can't convert 2, 3 or 4 of them.

Unfortunately could see this pootling along at 1-1 till the 89th minute and then them grabbing a late winner.

I think its been poor from us so far. I'm sure lots of people will be going 'we've had all the ball, we're the better side' but that's a fucking given in games like this. It's what you do with it. We have been flat. No energy and purpose to what we do. Ball's moving far too slowly. We're too narrow and end up bunched together. There aren't enough runs. We're overplaying frequently and ending up down blind alleys. And there have been too many sloppy moments that have gifted the ball back to them.

We've had one good move in the build up to the equaliser where we've strung five interchange passes together and released a runner in behind. Apart from that we haven't seen enough. More energy, more purpose more decisiveness. Pointless picking out individuals (though I want to see far more from Eriksen and Lamela, our two nominal creators in chief) as they all need to sharpen up.

He hasn't been great, but he doesn't hide and he still looks for the balls that make the difference.

We either need a creative playmaker who can unlock defences that are tightly packed or like you say ..to go round on the flanks. Striker and competition for Eriksen is required this window or we will keep coming up short.

Forwards need to co-ordinate their runs. It's not that the movement is actually that bad the moment, the problem is that they're all taking turns making the runs and it's too easy to mark.

The difference between Lamela, Kane, Alli and Dembele making a run on the back four at the same time vs Lamela making a run while Kane and the others make themselves available is monstrous. Leicester did it really well, hardly had the ball but when they attacked they rushed up quick and always had 3/4 players getting in the box

As everyone is jumping on the Eriksen is shit bandwagon I'd like to just say that Lamela has been anything but scintillating in recent weeks.

So I am sure you also watched the whole thing and realise that Alli if anyone was at fault for our goal...

Yeah and I love Eriksen but some people are saying he doesn't deserve criticism, which is wrong.

It's not his fault but Kane needs to buck up his ideas. He's really not having the same impact in games. Needs more help up there.

I'd sub Alli as don't think the game suits him, our goal was all about Dier not taking the easy pass and driving us up the pitch
