i would like us to get Dembele to replace modric but whats the point of waiting until deadline day? what if they dont settle or get injured? you cant replace them.

Players should be settled in and learn the system in pre season not 2-3 weeks in to the season.

Disappointing result today against West Brom but it is only the second game into the season.

People already slagging off Levy and Avb given them a chance the TW isn't closed yet and I'm sure we will invest, hopefully quite heavily after a poor display.

Did anyone actually expect us to win our games before the deadline day?

Its early in the season so I guess we shouldn't be panicking yet...however we saw how tight it was at the end of last season and I fear dropping two points at home against WBA may well come back and bite us in the arse in nine months time.

We should be winning games like this and more to the point should be strong enough to finish games like these out when you go into injury time winning. Very disappointing start to the season and a lot of work ahead.

wba deserved their point, friedel should have same of the ball before morrison scored. Livermore and jenas shouldnt be anyhwhere near that side useless. Need the 4/5 players before the end of the window hardly unlikely.

If I were WBA I'd be well peed off with only 1 point.

Hopefully this performance will push Levy into opening the purse strings, even though as usual we should get all our dealings done BEFORE the season kicks off. The points we drop at the beginning always come back to haunt us.

every match is important. don't give a crap how much cash we saved by signing Adebayor late, we threw away 2 points today, 1 point last week. rubbish!!!

Why bring in a new manager, try and revamp the whole team, and then not even back him properly? Makes no sense. It's ok to leave a deal or two till the last minute if you can afford to do that, but we plainly cannot afford to do that. Expecting us to start the season with a threadbare midfield and strike force, not to mention the keeper situation, is unacceptable.

Reading comments on here, Defoe has been shown up as not up to the lone striker role. And even more so, swapping to 442 was even worse. Another striker is a must, we need to go all out to sort the transfers this week.
New striker capable of offering presence up top without resorting to shooting on sight every time he gets the ball. (Not Defoe)
New midfielder capable of winning the ball and using it efficiently. (Not Jenas)

who put defoe in that role? JJ playing? 2 games in a row -- this needs sorting ASAP. whether you like me or not...
