and not play a high line! i wouldnt be suprised if we went with a 4-4-2 to be honest (y)

I don't mind the high line. Can't believe how many people we were catching offside with it.

Be honest though, it didn't work too well on Sunday.

Nah I think it tailed off in the last few month when vert went left back and Dawson decided to forget everything he knows about defending. Having Capoue as a make shift defender didn't help.

All things considered, the high line was never such a big issue at Spurs as it supposedly was at Chelsea. But when it did go wrong, as on Sunday, it wrong badly.

true, but have to say there was also times we were caught out, for me Dawson is a good cb in a flat back four but has been caught by runners a few times in a high line.

I wouldn't be surprised if the players who play on Wednesday play on Sunday too, get a new philosophy into them. I don't know much about Sherwood, but I can see a modest 442 probably with Defoe to start.

If he was employed under Harry then I can only presume a heavy influence on wing play, Townsend and Lennon perhaps. Though I'd love it for Lamela to start on the right. Also playing Holtby as a deeplying playmaker, along side Capoue depending on if Vlad is fit.

I'd like to see Holtby play the role Luka did under Harry, just to see how he does. It could be a good way to get some extra fire power in the team against weaker sides. It would allow us to play Siggy, Eriksen or Lamela as attacking midfielders, too, while keeping our traditional wing play with Lennon, Townsend and Chadli. Which sounds a lot like a Harry Redknapp, formation! What is wrong with me? I guess I just think we have the personnel to be more attacking. Less possession, more intent. Please.

BBC said:
Sandro has a calf injury and will not feature, but Vlad Chiriches, Christian Eriksen, Younes Kaboul and Danny Rose could return.

No news on Vert's, and think the could feature is due to them training. Dont think we will see Kaboul

I just realised who else are left in the competition....

So if the games go as they should the semi's would consist of:

Spurs
City
Chelsea
United

Which ever way the draw comes out you're going to have two cracking semi finals...

Que us losing against west ham

'Got to start on the front foot and impose ourselves on them as soon as we can'.

So basic, so simple but please please do this for once!

What the hell, Tim? Nothing is immense? What about the dimensions of the players? Who is a top top lad and who is just triffic. I am completely lost here.
