As above. Richard keys is pathetic and blatantly lies to try and get ratings, been proven again and again. Anything him or AG say should be taken with a massive punch of salt as most of what they say is total garbage

Just read through four pages to discover that this is a big fuss about absolutely nothing. Super.

In a way...yes. But these pages are not wasted because it has ripped away the veneer and shown us quite clearly that:
The Sun has an agenda
Richard Keys has an agenda

...and, not surprisingly, Dan Ashcroft has an agenda.

We'll see in a few weeks when the Technical structure of the club is put into place where Tim's role fits in with Levy & AVB.

Very hard to think of Tim Sherwood without thinking of that incredible winning goal he scored in the NLD back in 99. And then promptly didn't celebrate. Assumed at the time it was because he was a Gooner, but surely he wouldn't have had as much to do with us if he was.

Not sure how I feel about him now given the numerous contradictory stories on him over the past couple of months. It was only July when the reliable Greg Stobart said Sherwood was getting a promotion in the new regime due to his outstanding work. Seems he's a bit the odd one (or two with Sir Les) out now.

I personally think it is just The Sun trying to deflect the backlash they are most probably getting right now away from the paper, with yet another completely humongous lump of bullshit, which will only bring about more of backlash.

How can they be allowed to publish the shit they come out with as truth (which a lot of public will believe), when it is out right lies.

Fuck the freedom of the press if this going to be the result.

In the sense that they are survivors from the old regime, maybe.
In the sense that they did their jobs well enough (I would imagine, in Levy's estimation), and they are not old-school and rooted in old school methodologies, I don't see why they would be (especially Sherwood). And, if our understanding of the new structure is correct - AVB in charge of one department, Sherwood in charge of another department and both reporting directly to a Technical Director/DOF, I guess that would be the important relationship. And, as that appointment hasn't been made yet it doesn't seem apt to consider him more or less an odd one out than AVB with that (apparently) soon-to-be-made-appiontment.

I think it is on record that he was a Gooner...personally I don't care whether he was or not, and I don't care whether you, me, Dan Ashcroft, or the whole bluddy Universe despises him as a person - I care about whether he is any good at his job. And by all accounts, and the evidence I have seen myself in the NextGen, he is.
