I mean senior players of which I think we have too many. Of course augmented with5-6 younger players would be the way forward and they would include the likes of Japhet, Sess, Skippy, Jack Clarke, Rodon etc
I think you are spot on.

Look at our attackers. We have Kane, Son, Lucas, Vinicius, Bergwijn, Bale & Clarke all vying for three spots.

You certainly want depth but with Son and Kane being practically unremovable, you are essentially only in with a shout for one spot and even then Bergwijn is favoured.

It means none of the others can get a run of game time. Bale will start a EL game then either come on as sub in the league or get zero minutes at all. Lucas will be in and out. Whereas Vini is given 45 mins, if he doesn't do well, he's benched.

There's too many options, If we'd only signed Bale you could say that him and Bergwijn need to wrestle for that position, both getting significant game time. The options seem to alternate game by game and if you cant do anything with 30 mins sub appearance you can be not selected next time.

The way to go is to have 5 options, plus young upcoming player, and if you can get a verstaile midfielder who can play further up then that would be ideal.

Essentially our attack has too many options, whereas our midfield doesn't

The squad is bloated a little and its also unbalanced.

Interesting that a few have seemed to say there will a lot of bizarre loan signings tomorrow but no big permanents ..

We're crying out for a top CB who is also a leader. Unfortunately they are rare these days. Should have paid the extra for Skriniar in the summer but how many times have we seen that story at Spurs. Our best hope for this season is to let Toby play himself into form and get his confidence back. He has the experience to do that. Pair him with Rodon who clearly has potential and a point to prove. Dier need to sit out for a bit and work on his concentration and composure. The back 5 can fuck off. We should be taking the game to teams with our attacking players.

I wonder if that Araujo move is actually a thing? MLS is now on a lockout with no end in sight. We could use a backup RB to Doherty now that it’s incredibly unlikely we’ll see Serge again for a while, if at all.

There’s little money in football atm, it’ll all be loans with options with creative fee structures or just simple 6 month loans with no options.

Pochettino going to Watford apparently, Maurizio not Poch senior obviously.
This could have been done a long time ago, wish him well but he was well down the pecking order at Spurs, could have been a lot harsher but I am a massive Poch fan so will leave it at that.

Sterling next then move onto a few others.

No transfer news in here, sigh. The reason most of us joined this site was the talk around transfers and ITK. Not surprisingly without it the site is way less interesting.
Can't fault your honesty.

I can't see he has a thread and not sure where to post, but Gedson has gone. Joined Galatasaray on loan.
