How about we transfer 175 of you to the Woolwich boards for a few days? They'll have the same kind of information and they've got as little to do as you do, if you have the time to sit there refreshing the page all day - maybe they could employ some of you to dress up as trophies and mill about on their forums or something? :shrug:

Ok, Ok, not popular - i got it, how about reinforce a club that hasn't got many fans as enthusiastic (but socially distorted and shy) as you guys! How about we sign you all up to a nice Sunderland forum? Derby?

Then again, you could all just sit here doing the exact same thing you've been doing since this window opened, only now your manic desire for information that, for all you know, could've been made up by the dog that was on That's Life all them years ago (explaining why the information usually revolved around sausages and making you realise that it wasn't cryptic clues all along)

Christ it's boring at work - took me so long to get this new thread window up i forgot what my actual point was, so reverted to this wonderful piece of sexual frustration, embodied in text and flung at you all for being sadsacks.

So, to sum up, as my boss is staring at me funny - i never type this much unless i'm skiving, he knows that - stop spamming f5 - take a few minutes to go read some other clubs forums; the Manure forums are humming with Ronaldo/Berba gossip. I've even found myself browsing L'Equipe again to avoid clogging up this place - i don't speak French, but a page is a page, right? :lol:

And, who knows, you might even find your very own little bit of ITK, snuck away on some random website that everyone else ignores... Go get 'em, tiger! :up:

Actually, nah - if you want to read it like that, if you think i'm the only person affected by this constant "server too busy" message then you go ahead and assume that's why i posted that.

We're ALL getting that message - if some people hit f5 only every 2 minutes, instead of every 30 seconds, the site would be coping much easier - i simply pointed out that the more you refresh the page the more your making it hard on yourself - think about it.

I think it's a point you made before Rocky and while it does get a bit frustrating trying to log on at times this place is available to all in whatever way they feel they need to use it, all are welcome, although I'm sure many will take on board your thoughts :up:

We have well over 2000 visitors today alone. That will slow down any system. Rock's right. As the Admin message states, we shouldn't be refreshing constantly, but it's the nature of the beast. And I doubt the f5'ers are the real issue. We are a big site and the whole Berbatov thing has people coming to get an update. It's a pain, but be patient.

Can't say I've got it too often...I think two or three times, ever. Perhaps a better solution would be for you to go and do something else when you see that page, under the assumption that if you come back a bit later it will be working again. I very much doubt there are more than a handful of people constantly refreshing. Certainly not enough to have any real effect.

That's the general gist i've been getting as well, but they're a confused bunch it seems - some forums are crying out for him, wanting to use the cash from Ronaldo. Some are saying they'd rather loose Giggs and Scholes than Ronaldo, etc.

Very split bunch at the moment - i'd like to see how they react if it turns out they have put in a bid for this other fella :shrug: As a bunch of supporters, the red's aren't as bad as a lot of clubs, at least they've got the perspective to compare the comings and goings and not just cry for replacements at every given oppo...

It just refreshes the page, same as pressing the refresh button on your browser. Go on Kev, try it out a few hundred times, it's like a new toy, no-one will mind.
