Is it just me or do you find the transfer speculation/itk/rumours more interesting than actually watching Spurs??

Actually I just think I'm just missing them on the pitch.

Bring on the new season!!

Nope, hate them. Wish they would get rid.

It's both more interesting and yet, somehow, even more of a let down than on the pitch.

I get less bothered with transfers as I get older. And Transfer window time on here is I think the worst time of the year, and the worst part of the site. In small doses its ok to get involved with, and to try and take the ITK thread off topic and derail it at every opportunity, but really I hope it was killed off.

I used to love the excitement of the transfer window. The weird pleasure of finding out that we're interested in a player, followed by rumours of deals being close, then blurry pictures of someone in the training ground car park. It's obsessive.

These days I tend to glance through the ITK thread from time to time, but I try not to get too caught up in the rumours. Following the developments in a transfer deal can be very interesting, but it doesn't compare to waking up in the morning to find out we've just signed Modric.

The problem and pleasure of the transfer window is that for a few weeks we can dream of bringing in the players we need to transform us into a top team.
