Names on the team sheet mean fuck all, I'm an Australian and when we named our world cup squad I had watched maybe 4-5 players play (for their club) ever and hardly knew the teams half the squad played for. Mostly 2nd Div Bundelisga and around Asia, yet we managed to play good attacking football and cause some very good sides a lot of problems.

My point is, fuck the golden players, get most over a golden team.

I agree. England are worse than bad and it isn't because the players are bad. It is because of the lack of any clear strategy. I actively want England to lose these days unless there is a spurs player involved. They have been the worst team in the last 2 world cups. Even Australia looked a better team as did Slovenia in the last world cup. We are shockingly poor and other than making it watchable I don't want our players anywhere near that team.
