Muamba and Henderson is the least creative midfield I have ever seen. Lansbury and Cleaverly should have started every single game.

I am looking forward to seeing Sinclair in Swansea next season, exciting player.

I thought that the strikers were ok, Welbeck had 2 in 3 games which is a decent ratio, and I thought Sturridge played quite well throughout.

Overall though England were woeful, yesterday was probably the better performance out of the three but probably only because the Czech's were sitting back allowing England possession. It was more a surprise when they did manage to get that first goal.

Obviously Wilshire would have made a huge difference to that midfield like if Mata wasn't in there for Spain but still you could imagine Spain still playing decent football as that's what they're taught to do as opposed to England who kick and hope.

I think for the level they are supposed to be at they were crap, Sturridge couldn't even score a goal in 3 games against sub par players. England are well overrated these days they're all fast and strong with little to no end product, team work or creativity. Just abunch of big headed twats playing kick ball and thinking they're great.

What really cracked me up was Smallings interview a day or so after the Spain game. The guy asks him about Spain having better technique and stuff blah blah blah forget the exact details but Smalling goes on to say something like he really doesn't think that's true and England are just as good or something along those lines. The first step in closing the gap is admitting there is one but alot of these twats in the game have their heads firmly wedged up their own arse.

The Spain stars all turned up though didn't they. Players like De Gea, ,Javi Martinez and Mata are a completely different class to anyone that played in our side. But include Hart, Wilshere, Adam Johnson, Andy Carroll etc. and we would have looked a lot better than we did for sure. Just our stars all found an excuse to not turn up.

The stars or there managers?

I do agree if we had our star players out there it would have been totaly diffrent, but every time we get to a final we always pull the stars out to play in qualifying for the full team, meaning less friendlys to the manager can see them, or they are too tired to play.....

Again, yes we were shit, but it would have been a whole lot different if everyone had turned up. A different side if you include Wilshere, Adam Johnson and Andy Carroll.
Except Joe Hart and Adam Johnson were both ineligible for the tournament.

Wilshere would've made a big difference. Playing Sturridge instead of Welbeck up front would've helped too, with albrighton on the wing.

But until our players are told they are allowed to play football and not just try to move the ball upfield as fast as possible and in as few passes as necessary, it doesn't matter who plays as we'll still look shit.

I'm not a massive fan of Albrighton, he has a weird dribbling style and I think that the modern winger needs to do more than just run with his head down and cross.

That's what Hoddle has been saying for years. English, or rather British players generally lacks technique and don't stop and think.

I agree someone like Wilshere could've potentially made a difference but then again he could've just got overwelmed by the spastic kick and run crap we were playing. Fact is though the team was full of EPL experienced players so there really is no excuses for such poor performances like we witnessed.

Something I noticed that was similar to the senior squad at the last WC is we don't seem to know what our best line up is for the tournament. We start off all gung ho big talk and then fall flat after the first game or so start chopping and changing and the manager just looks like he hasn't got a clue.

English football is very dated unfortunately and until we have a revolution so to speak we'll continue getting whipped by any team capable of playing good pass and move football. Plus for the level of achievement on the international stage the egos on display are quite shocking. These guys truely believe they're right up there with the best of the best in terms of ability because they play in the EPL the league with probably the most ammount of foriegn players ding ding ding.

It's a very frustrating situation to watch repeat itself over and over again with no signs of a change especially if you like international football. England need a footballing revolution they need someone to come in and be given the power to change everything top to bottom fuck out all the deadwood and start playing football they way it's supposed to be played. We need to start playing intelligent players and not block heads who can run real fast and bench press alot. I don't think most players on the continent have a reputation for being thick like they do in England.
