lmfao the Czechs look good when they're actually trying to play football and not just defend

nothing more than England deserve really, hopefully Pearce will get fired but I doubt it

Good ending, but we need to start playing before we are losing, we have good attacking players, but they need to play and not run around like fools because defenders just hoof the ball

Ah yes, Tomas Pekhart the guy we released when he was 18 years old. Of course he had to fucking score....

England were crap all the way through. It would have been typical England to get by on one goal after a lackluster group. Jones and Smalling were good along with the goalie. Midfield were shit, infact, most of our play were shit in the final third. No cutting edge, no fluency and no attacking intelligence.

Got what we deserved.

Congrats, your coach sent you lot out all wrong playing for the draw with 8 or 9 defenders. I didn't think England would've won if you had of just played your normal game from the beginning. Goodluck against the Swiss but I reckon they'll give you a good caning they've been real good so far.

Agree, they looked decent today in parts because the Czechs were just sitting back but as soon as they scored the Czechs came out their shell and looked far better. Does anyone think Pearce will get the boot?

Not happy about the tactics one little bit...we have the quality to force opponent our style and control the game, but sitting passively like this is asking for trouble

Well done mate! Over the last few games I think you deserved it. When you played against us you certainly played well.

Viva, I don't know how to multi-quote but I'm not sure about Pearce. I don't think tactically he's good enough but I also think he's hindered by a complete lack of technical and intelligent footballer in the team. As a manager so far, he has failed -- in the England set-up and without -- so it remains to be seen what will happen.

Something drastic needs to happen though in England. None of this Roy of the Rovers type football, technique, possession football and how to use space (and make it) is the order of the day. Follow Spains and Germanys lead.

He really, really should. The way he's handled the U21s is symbolic of how shit pretty much all English kids have been coached ever since they were five. Expressing themselves seems to be strictly forbidden.

English kids are no less talented than any other in the world. It's the coaches that are letting them down.

He will probably get the big job when Capello is sacked, that's how stupid the F.A. is.

To be honest I don't think Harry would be much better.

Hart

Walker---Smalling---Jones---Rose

Rodwell

Wilshere---Cleverly

Albrighton----------------Johnson

Carroll

Would have had a decent shot at this tournament even against the more talented Spanish team. They would have caused the lesser teams a lot of troubles.

Again, yes we were shit, but it would have been a whole lot different if everyone had turned up. A different side if you include Wilshere, Adam Johnson and Andy Carroll.

Exactly what I thought - took us to score for them to get into gear seeing as a draw would have put them through anyway.

The two strikers were pretty woeful the whole tournament!

I thought that the strikers were ok, Welbeck had 2 in 3 games which is a decent ratio, and I thought Sturridge played quite well throughout.

Overall though England were woeful, yesterday was probably the better performance out of the three but probably only because the Czech's were sitting back allowing England possession. It was more a surprise when they did manage to get that first goal.

Obviously Wilshire would have made a huge difference to that midfield like if Mata wasn't in there for Spain but still you could imagine Spain still playing decent football as that's what they're taught to do as opposed to England who kick and hope.

Watched a bit of the U17 world cup after, England vs Rwanda. No Spurs players. Surely it's child abuse to have them playing in 35c heat in Mexico.
