Yeah, I was reading last night how they invented the passing football that was used as a blueprint for the Dutch 'total football'. Overlooking the fact that they were arsing about in the lower leagues while Blanchflower and co were passing and moving their way to the first league and cup double of the modern era.

The thing that gets me is the hypocrisy that liverpool fans constantly show. The day after he moved to Chelsea I was flicking through the channels on the radio and hear d a Liverpool fan saying that blackpool were denying Charlie Adam the right to progress his career and that Torres showed the ultimate disrespect to Liverpool for wanting to leave... Seriously WTF...

If Blackpool should have accomodated Adams request to leave with no complaints then Liverpool should have done the same with Torres as Chelsea are a much better side then Liverpool and have been for the last 6 or 7 years

Liverpool fans are passionate no doubt and I have the pleasure of working with a Liverpudlian who is a Liverpool fan and yet not a bellend.
