Sorry to be spread the boring news, but looks like we won't make any signings until the summer (as Harry's said, so not exactly breaking news!)

Sandro for whatever reason probably won't be coming in Jan, as others have said.

Veloso we do have interest in for once! But not until the summer, if ever. I always thought it was just a constant tabloid rumour, but it appears to be true this time.

Maybe a new goalkeeper, but the prices are too high at the moment for what we need.

We're in a completely different situation to last january. We don't need to buy any players if we can't find anyone of the required quality. If someone good is available I imagine we'll go for them, or if there are any oppertunistic purchases (like Parker) then we could will buy but the bottom line is we don't have to.

I'd still be surprised if we didn't sign anyone though.

For once, in a transfer window i am not that concerned if we sign no-one. As Harry as already said, he could get more problems by signing other players, and to be honest, how many AVAILABLE, top draw players are out there who would better our team at present?
We have a decent back 4 with cover, our midfield picks itself at present with international quality in reserve and up front we have some of the best strikers we could wish for. The other thing is all our players compliment each other well and we have a nice blend and balance to the team, so why upset it.

I do however feel we need to get rid of a couple, Bentley, Pav & Hutton, would be my three

obviously we're safe from relegation and we'll sell out every game more or less from here to may

so can understand the economic argument in the short term - but we have a good chance of glory - can we risk losing it for a 'haporth of tar' (relatively speaking)

I'm pretty happy with what we have now also but I wouldn't mind some appropriate cover for Palacios. Sporting are apparently interested in Pedro Mendes so maybe they really are looking to offload him.

I'm not disappointed at all. I think we have the skill and depth in all areas. Particularly if O'Hara comes back. I think its more important we keep our team playing together and improve that than dragging in endless new players (foreign or otherwise).

Since when can you believe what Harry says about signings! However i doubt we will do much unless there are departures then maybe we might look to bring in some new faces. If Sandro isnt coming then expect O'Hara may come back.

I can't see that we need anyone, so this would be fine by me. Hutton, Bentley, Pavlyuchenko out. O'Hara returns from his loan. Sorted.

We have asking prices for the players like Pav, Bentley, ect. If they aren't met we won't sell until the summer. I guess we might bring in replacements if they go, but thats just me guessing

I'm getting a bit sick of all this to be honest. Rebrab who are you kidding?

Well its always been a media thing linking us to the same players every year, so I was pointing out myself (so that you wouldn't have to) that its normally a load of rubbish but this time it's not. All I'm saying is that we've been to watch him so we're clearly interested. But at the same time we aren't looking for anyone in - so it would be in the summer not now
