Guys, no need to attack ITK's, however you try to wrap it up. If you don't believe what they say just keep it to yourself and choose not to accept it rather than taking cheap shots. Thanks.

It wouldn't bother me too much if we dont sign anyone. We have enough quality to see out this season and challenge for 4th spot. I still think we could do with another goalscorer, because if Defoe gets injured i think we'll struggle a bit. But we still have Pav so unless we sell him then a forward isn't crucial. Sandro was always one for the future anyway, and surely Veloso is an alternative to Sandro in case that doesn't go through.

I've editted it for you, but I am not sure it is the case. The actual information is not always correct but they are passing on what they have heard so it is not a case of the ITK being right or wrong, just the information.

After buying and selling a very large number of players over the past numerous years this is arguably the best team/squad we have had since 60/61. We also have a number of young players coming through the system who are currently out on loan and hopefully one or two will be good enough to improve the first team.
Although it is exciting for us to see a number of new faces every window it doen't necessarily mean that they will improve the team. I am sure that Harry is looking at one or two players but will only go for them seriously if either
1. He feels that he can get them cheap (which is not normally the case in the Jan window) or
2. He feels that he has to because he has let someone leave the club and he needs to be replaced (Pav for example).
Bottom line is if it isn't broke then don't fix it.

cheers rebrab. i haven't posted anything this window as there's been nothing to post - my source keeps telling me the same thing - 'don't you listen to harry?! as it stands no-one is coming in apart from a keeper'
if this is all true, then we need to hold on to pav, and the only two who are surplus to requirements are hutton & bentley. more than happy for gio to step up, we've got rose, kranjcar, lennon, modric that can all play on the right so no need for bents. as for hutton, let him go if naughton or walker are good enough.
we definitely need a keeper though! can't imagine what would happen to our season if gomes got injured. would like to see o'hara come back aswell, then happy with the strength in depth.

Yes of course I am not saying one or the other is giving us false info, just that one of them has to be wrong - we are getting Parker, or we are not signing anyone, It can't be both, so I wonder which ones info is correct - I guess basically what I am saying to everyone is don't write off there being no transfers now (as many seemed to have done since the ITK came out) But rather remember there was other ITK indicating we were interested in a number of different players, and in this window!! We have also had a number of supposidly trustworthy ITK's saying that the Sandro is and has been a done deal for a long time............
Bottom line is, all ITK is to be taken with a pinch........so I guess we will wait and see, maybe there is excitement to come after all!
Me, I still think we will get a young GK as backup, and IF we loose a couple of our big names like Pav, Hutton or Bentley.......we will see some replacements in Jan.

read it properly Wex......the other ITK says 'if' Bentley leaves, then we will sign Parker.
I actually think we trust Harry on this one, we might see some signings, but we need to see players leave first, otherwise I can't see us doing much at all.
Pretty much what rebrab is implying.

Cheers, Rebrab, much appreciated, indeed. I for one would still like to see another CM to compete with Thudd/Palacios/(Jenas), but if we're not desperate for Sandro (Veloso) at the moment prob means we think we can have Niko/Luka/Lennon in the same team and use O'Hara as backup. Which, in fact, is good news to me.
Been waiting a long time for a settled Spurs team and a quiet transfer window, though I think we'll look for more competition in the summer to push the team even further and keep the team on their toes..

Im not ITK in the slightest, but my mate plays for Woking and used to play for Charlton but got released when he was 20. Anyways... he has said that he has heard that Parker really wants to sign for us but Liverpool are interested aswel but he def would prefer to stay in London. Nothing concrete but thought would pass on as he still knows quite a few peeps at all different clubs.
Also said a couple of his pals at Brentford were raving about Bostock.
