I agree, but I guess you have to ask yourself IF he is still that good why are RM getting shout of him, especially on a free!:shrug:

His contract is up in the summer. And Real Madrid already have Benzema, Higuain and Raul. Plus they often play Ronaldo up top aswell. So he's pretty much 5th choice behind 4 top class forwards.

I doubt it will be a free. More like a nominal fee. They want to get rid to save all that wedge he's on. He's been out for a while but up until that injury he was playing and scoring. Then Madrid went out and bought every bugger and players like Huigain started playing well. He just hasn't had a chance.
