A friend of mine just commited to FSU.

http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1302606

He grew up literally next door to me

Just out of curiosity, as I dont follow college football at all and only watch NFL when Im in the US or Canada or the Super Bowl is on: What are the chances of College footballers to make it to the NFL? I know its a stupid question and probably pretty relative, but is it like only 1 every year makes it from an college team to NFL or 5-6 every year? Hope you know what I mean

Sandusky has been arrested again, bail was set at 250k so he's gone off to prison, latest grand jury findings sound a if they could be worse than the last one, one victim was raped in sandusky's house with his wife in the house, the boy screamed for help she did nothing.

6-foot-7, 320 pound lineman - he's a big lad, even for an o-lineman.

Re your second question, more players make it from the top colleges (obviously), but even then only a couple out of each senior class (tops) I would imagine.

I know people say it's the beginning of the end for the BCS every time there is a controversial decision but this time I actually believe it could be. The BCS haven't just screwed up with the National Championship Game but also with a lot of the other bowls. Any system that leaves out the teams ranked 6, 7, 8 and 9 in favour of the teams ranked 11, 13, 14 and 23 is broken.

The Fiesta bowl should be a cracker, the Rose I'm on the fence about. It's either going to be a great game or Oregon will dominate by being too fast for Wisconsin. The Sugar and Orange bowls are meh.

We have the Meyer bowl, sorry Gator bowl, between Ohio State and Florida, which would probably be rather depressing unless you support Michigan & Florida State. The Cotton bowl between Kansas State and Arkansas should be good.

A lot of people are saying Braxton Miller reminds them of Troy Smith, so he could be a good fit for Meyer's offense. Once Ohio State gets past the sanctions I think Meyer will turn them into a dynasty, especially as the Big Ten isn't that competitive at the moment. It'll be interesting to see if Michigan is any good without Denard Robinson.

Montee Ball has to be the favourite at the moment, though he should have probably won it this year as the guy was one TD short of equalling Barry Sanders' all-time single season record.

We have to be pre-season no 1 simply because Jordan Jefferson's graduating this year. But seriously, I think it's going to be between us and USC. 'Bama looks likely to lose 7 starters on offense & 7 on defense, including Trent Richardson.

We have 6 defensive starters returning (I'm praying Morris Claiborne doesn't declare for the draft), the no 2 QB in the country has committed to LSU and our schedule is easier this year (our toughest road games are Arkansas & Texas A&M)

I like the USC at #1. With Barkley back and their WR corp have to put them over your guys
Had Braxton Miller this year in FF but have to retain one QB for next year and have WV Geno Smith on my roster also:cry:
Montee Ball also on my roster so thats an easy one but also have Marcus Lattimore so hope I can pick him up
And as for Michigan... F**k Michigan:bs:

Pease @ florida, new strength n conditioning coach, 2011's number 1 and 3 qbs coming into their sophmore years, the gators are waking up slowly but surely. Almost all our squad were freshmen or sophmores, we're only really losing rainey, demps and brantley. just gotta get the OL line sorted out.

also, remember, in 2007 Florida showed Ohio State that at its best, UF is better. in 2011 it showed that at its worst, UF is still better.

Ohio State will improve so much under Meyer that it will be far better than anything Florida can put out. Plus Florida still have to compete with the SEC East and I can't see them being better than anything Saban has. You should just count yourself lucky that while you currently suck, Tennessee sucks more and unlike Florida until they get rid of Dooley there is no sign of improvement.

Saban is in the SEC West. Ga and SC are the only two real contentions for us, and they both beat us last year, when we really fucking sucked.

We're going to back in a big big way. 4th Recruiting class this year too.
