After going 14-0 down LSU have kicked it up a gear and are crushing Arkansas 41-17.

LSU vs Alabama for the title then.

Part of me hopes 'Bama lose to Auburn tomorrow.

Oklahoma State still have a chance though. If they crush Oklahoma next week then the style points & the fact that 'Bama won't be playing might help them get extra votes. The voters tend to have very short memories.

Also, congrats to LSU. Today I think they have wrapped up the AP National Championship.

Its mental thought that by losing to LSU, Alabama now have an easier road to the National Championship game than LSU.

Doesn't really matter though, on this form I can't see LSU losing.

Houston smashed Tulsa, who would have been their biggest threat to the C-USA, if they win that they go into the BCS unbeaten.

Utah lost to Colorado, UCLA win PAC-12 South. The Rose Bowl might as well invite Oregon now.

The BCS system is so stupid and needs to be replaced with a playoff system. The fact that it's still possible for 'Bama to make the national championship game instead of LSU is retarded.

I'm looking forward to the Houston-Southern Miss game for the C-USA. Houston will win but it should be a high scoring game.

UCLA is just a sign of how woeful the PAC-12 South is. Once USC gets past its sanctions they will have no trouble making the PAC-12 championship game every single season.

The Big East is a bloody mess with BYU already stating they ain't interested in joining & they're now looking at Houston, SMU and UCF. Surely they have to lose there automatic BCS bowl spot?

The PAC-12 South should get better if Rich Rodriguez can do what he did at West Virginia with Arizona.

Can't imagine The BCS giving the Big East automatic entry when the contracts change over.

The BCS did mention they may only pick the National Championship teams and have not automatic qualifiers so there would be 8 at large picks. Would still be a flawed system.

The Cal-Arizona State game is exciting. After 3 quarters it's Cal 41 Arizona State 38 & both teams are close to 500 yards total offense.

Though Arizona State has given up over 100 yards on penalties.

I can't tell if USC are awesome or whether UCLA are really shit. Marqise Lee nearly has more receiving yards than UCLA has total yards.

This is what happens when Neuheisel gets to cocky and thinks he deserves to be in the Championship game.

So Urban Meyer has gone to Ohio Sate, will interesting to see what comes first, a National Championship or his health deteriorating so bad he has to resign again.

Also it looks like Dan Mullen is heading to Penn State.

Greg Mattison is already at Michigan.

Florida's National Championship Coaching staff is heading to the B1G.

So the PAC-12 has the embarrassment of having their press conference for their first ever championship game being dominated by the news that one of the head coaches in the game has been sacked.
