What makes me feel all warm inside is having had the best run of results over Arsenal since Nicholson was boss, and the only manager since Nicholson who's been in charge for over 100 games and won half of them (you may nitpick that 55 out of 112 is fractionally short of half if you please).

What makes me laugh quite immoderately is theorising armchair experts who seem seriously to believe they could do better.

Redknapp has the best squad since Nicholson, so the levels we are currently at is the bare minimum requirement based on what he has at his disposal.

Even richer, from someone who insists the Manchego Munchkin (currently taking Dnipro to their worst league position in the last ten years and possibly ever) wasn't a near-total disaster for us.

You will recall (or perhaps you won't) that from 60-61 to 63-64 we had arguably the strongest squad in the league; that is most certainly not the case now.

Indeed, Harry really needs to ensure he starts with Parker and Sandro to counter their two lads in the middle.

Yeah his fitness levels were piss poor at Villa Park last season weren't they? After having to lead the line on his own for most of the game and busting a gut well into the 2nd half to grab the second. 16 goals and 11 assits last season, I'll defend him till the cows come home.
