Very stupid question regarding Bronze membership renewals

Deadline for renewal is 24th of June. However when I went to renew a message popped up saying -

Please be aware that if you purchased last season’s membership by Direct Debit this season’s membership will be renewed automatically and therefore you do not need to re-apply.

How do you know whether you paid by direct debit last year?

Under My Memberships it has One Hotspur Bronze Adult Renew then says valid until 31/05/2012. Does that mean I did pay by direct debit and I am a member for the 11/12 season?

Yes you've paid by direct debit. Mine says:

Payment Type Valid until
Direct Debit Discount 31/05/2012

I phoned the renewal line to get confirmation on whether we had set up a DD last season and got told by three different people on three different days "No" "Yes" "No".

I wouldn't have thought so. The club never set deadlines for new people to give money

But I'm assuming if yours says expires May 2012 then its paid for and you did set up a DD

You will have received an email from the ticket office if you've paid by direct debit. I got one a couple of weeks ago confirming I didn't have to do anything and that the payment would automatically come out of my account.

Yep. The final "No" did it for me and I promptly saved £6 by setting up a DD there and then.

Further news on the ST front. I'm No 697 on the waiting list and the first guy I spoke to suggested I may be in line for an offer of a ST for me and the missus who is no 694.

Payment for your membership will be taken out of your nominated bank account in June via Direct Debit.
