I think it's pretty clear that we're closer to Everton and Southampton in our transfer mentality than the top 6. I really thought 2 straight years of Champions League might make us more ambitious.
I just wish that if we were committing to developing young talent, we would actually do it. I'm worried shipping off players after a year will give us a bad reputation.

It seems he plays for Nice's B team so I would assume he will hardly get anytime what so ever next season if we get him.

Mate, you realise this guy would almost certainly play mostly for the U23s, if he signs he's not going to be our attacking signing for the summer FFS.
From what I can see he also plays CM a lot as well, so people are just making up this 'another young French winger' stuff.
