So it's looking like Verts, Fazio, Kaboul, Vlad and Dier then.

1 too many if you ask me, especially considering how well Dier is doing.
Nah that's the perfect amount. Would be nice to get MM in there as well though.

It's going to be a long campaign and we always, always get bad injuries at CB. Dier will be extremely useful in playing 3 positions as well.

Eh, we said similar things about Vertonghen after the win against United at Old Trafford. CBs are usually CBs for a reason.
Not me - Vertonghen is, was and always will be better at centre half - it was needs must.

Dier is still in his developmental period of his career so a prolongued stint at right back in the current circumstances won't do him any harm whatsoever - particularly if he keeps up his impressive start.

What's Vlad's injury/fitness situation? Not playing at all in preseason probably means it will take a long time before we see him near the first team IF he stays.

Goal now saying Manolas is coming to Roma for medical - unless something goes wrong the Chirchs Roma seems dead as we surmised yesterday from the Greek source

Tzatziki?

Seriously pleased if true.

Just hope his back injury isn't Lamela sized.

Nice to see a transfer knock on pay dividends for us for once. Bayern needed a CB so beat PL teams to the signing of Benatia.

They then look to take Chiriches from us to replace him back change their mind at the last minute and pinch Manolas from under Arsenal's nose. Now Vlad looks like he's got another chance at Spurs.

Happy days!

Yep and it hopefully means no Naughton. Ever.

Kabs and Chiricges have questionable fitness, Dier may cover in at RB as much as he will at CB. If So I think that might be about right if we are playing Leage, and three cups

Looks like the magnificent 7 are staying then.
Maybe opinions will change after they actually get a chance to show there talents?
Capoue and Chadli being the examples here.

Hope he says. If we need to trim the defensive squad we can look to offload Naughton Ekotto and Fryers

GK: Lloris Vorm Friedel
RB: Walker Dier
CB: Fazio Kaboul
CB: Vertonghen Chiriches
LB: Davies Rose

Spent 25m. So far sold Dawson for around 4m. Naughton Fryers and Ekotto should raise a further 10m

Yeah I'm concerned we might let too many go not only in defence but midfield. It's a long season. We also ended up playing Sigurdsson and Chadli as our CM against Liverpool. That meant Sandro, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho were all unfit or injured. Can easily happen again.
