If thats true could mean Pogba is off.

If he is then I give up on football. Him and Vidal are the future of the club and losing them just puts us back into struggling to keep up with the European elites.

Guarin is decent but I still prefer the midfielders we currently have. Perhaps Pirlo won't sign a new deal, or even the Marchisio rumours might come true. Regardless, I'm worried about Guarin coming in and the impact it may bear on Pogba and Vidal. :(

Guarin to Juve.

Jesus, their midfield is insane. Someone must be off there, hopefully not to Utd. I have a feeling it could be Marchisio.

Could easily be Juve taking advantage of Inter to upgrade on their midfield selections, the squad is hardly packed there and the backups aren't even close to the class of the others. Guarin + money + sell Padoin and Isla would be a fantastic bit of business.

Demarzio has something to say, but the link seems to be broken:

According to La Gazzetta, the Inter fans are furious about this. They're calling it the straw that breaks the camel's back and are threatening to boycot games.

Edit: Erick Thohir, Inter's president is trying to call the deal off.

Edit Edit: Having read more into it. The deal was practically done, it seemed. Guarin was valued at around €15m and a deal was agreed for Vucinic plus €13m. Both players had passed medicals and had already said goodbye to their team mates. The Curva Nord (fans based in the North Block) fans at Inter were furious with the deal as they didn't think it was good value, especially to a rival club so threatened to boycot. Inter's president Thohir is now trying to stop the deal.

Interestingly enough, rumours are that Vucinic was close to going to Arsenal on loan with a future fee of €11m.

Which is funny, given it seems he was the one who kicked it off.

I've added a bit more to that post, but from what I was told it was actually between Massimo Moratti and Beppe Marotta. Moratti still has dealings with the club and is friends with Marotta. It sounds like Thohir was ok with it up until the fans kicked off.

I can't blame them, Juve are certainly getting the better deal. My only concern is for the future of Pogba and Vidal if we add another midfielder. Rumours were circulating that we were to bring in Guarin now and do a cash + Verratti deal for Pogba with PSG in the summer.

lol, I'll never get tired of stories about Inter eating itself.

Think it would have to be a hell of a lot of money + Veratti to tempt them, but at the same time can see that happening. PSG looking towards creating a more French team would be good for their image I'd have thought, although they'll also need to start spending within France more.

Also, Juve would welcome Verratti with open arms. Partly, because he's tipped to be the Pirlo successor, but mostly because Juve have always prided themselves of having an Italian core. Over the years the majority of Italian national sides have had at least half of their players plying their trade at Juve. I can see Juve going for the deal. It's all paper talk right now though.

That's a big reason I can see for Juve to be interested on top of the money. If Pogba can bring in Verratti and fund a deal to bring in Perin and have money left for over for another signing then Juve can repeat what they did when they sold Zizou and end up a stronger side for years to come, with an Italian spine running from GK all the way to ST.

I mentioned the possible Quagliarella bid elsewhere, and somebody responded with this......

"Quagliarella....No thanks, not going to improve us. Not started more than 17 games in the past 4 seasons. Defour, again not for me. 8 starts for Porto this season tells us something.

Now, if you are looking for a relative cheap option striker wise, a player who i liked the look off last season, igive you...Scocco of Internacional. LW, RW,AM and striker. What a shot this lad has, great penalty taker (topho) scores all manner of goals. Argentinian, A mate for Lamela. £5 million tag placed on his head by his club. Sunderland interested. Some suggested a striker who can beat his man, do something out of the ordinary. This 28 year old ticks all the boxes. Not going to be your hold up man, but you play him anywhere in the final 3rd and give him license to roam, watch him go. Check out the hammer shot at about 1m43secs. I think he's worth all of £5 million. Career goals of approx 1 in 2 games. Here's him doing his thing..Enjoy!.
"

Can anyone confirm or deny his suggestions ability? That YouTube clip is football porn!!

Scocco is going to Sunderland it seems.

This will all only step up pressure on Napoli to make a statement signing, or so I fear

Vucinic is a little lazy for high-tempo Arsenal. We will see though, as they do provide excellent service. I think he will start out wide though, where I would worry about him if I were a gooner.

Arsenal fans are really going to be happy then, hahahaha. They all thought they were going to get Draxler this window. Instead, they get Vucinic.
