Son's just played six games in 18 days and offered very little threat against Asian teenagers. I wouldn't bet on him making an immediate impact. He needs a proper rest and recovery.

£80m player though apparently so hopefully when he gets back he will look better than against the Asian games kids.
I'd be happy for him to come in for Deli though but you just know it will be for Moura.

I didn't see anybody saying we could win the title anywhere. Not in the media not even on here (tongue and cheek comments aside). I think subconsciously you thought we had a chance.

Impressive skill you have there reading my subconscious mind.

Unfortunately, today we have proved the pundits right. Going 2-1 down, you look at the bench, and there’s not one player that can change a game. Also, a special mention to Kane that could have sealed the game being 2 against 1 and totally bottled it. Disappointed and frustrated would be an understatement.
Think it was more the formation myself, we had enough gamechangers on the pitch.

We lose a man in attack to put a man in central defence, and spend most of our time knocking it across the back 3.

We are one of the big teams now and when we lose to a team like Watford the manager and players should be getting both barrels.
They all need to be told.
Today was not fucking good enough.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but I think we could have done with playing Luke Amos in midfield today. We got bullied too easily and played like we were just expecting to turn up and win.
Maybe wanyama should of come on once it was obvious that they were getting hold of the game but our subs as usual came way too late to make any difference

Bad game management on and off the pitch.

Not sure why we go to 3 at the back

Not sure why Dier doesn't start.

Hard decisions to make and not shirk Poch.

The guy has played the sum total of about 2 minutes for the first team in competitive football, so we’ve got essentially no idea how good he actually is.

Poch may have made errors today but if there’s one thing he knows, it’s when youth players are ready to make the step up.

Lamela would of been perfect for us today. We lack a lot of tenacity and guile at times, something he has in spades.

I like the way battles for the ball and drives forward with it.

Not sure what's up with Eriksen but he looks like he's coasting a lot, as opposed to trying to really dictate our game like he's done so often in the past.

It’s a fucking embarrassing term, drop it. It makes you sounds like a melt millennial that’s been supporting Spurs for all of 5 minutes

If you find it embarrassing that’s fine but don’t be telling other people what to say.

Dembélé gave away such a stupid freekick when he should have had control as the ball was already away from the Watford player. The main way Watford were going to get goals would be from set-pieces, so avoid giving them the opportunity.

agree that Poch should have switched to 4 at the back and added another midfielder once they started bashing us. just subbing Winks for Dembele wasnt enough even if he'd done it earlier. it seemed clear to me during the game the only change that would have helped was pulling off a CB,

All I can say about that game is winks looked good when he came on. Like the pre injury winks that was talked of as an England starter...

Hopefully will get more minutes now.

Christian Eriksen has been absolutely dog shit this season. He has no excuse whatsoever, there’s players who’ve not had a pre season out performing him.

I didn't think we were as bad as some have been saying, I'm not saying it was a vintage performance by any means, but I think it's a tad knee jerk and unbalanced to say we deserved nothing from the game. Watford had an excellent spell of pressure for 10-15 minutes which they maximised in the extreme, that apart they weren't that dangerous. I don't think we did quite enough to win the game, but it would be fairer to say we had the majority of that game but failed to translate it into enough concerted pressure, a draw would have been the right result.

Credit to Watford, they are on a good run and this was never going to be a walk in the park, but I'm not going to go overboarad and say we we're completely useless because I don't think we were.

Not good enough by anyone but fuck me if we'd won two headers we would have won that.

Unacceptable to lose to a couple of naff set plays while at the same time having a ton of corners and creating nothing.
