All about the result, thought we were looking good prior to the sending off, and then we ran into our Achilles heel of struggling to break down a deep defence.

Table looking a lot healthier now.

A massive three points. Watford are no mug side as most recently Liverpool and Chelsea have found out. I know this is probably somewhat of an outrageous thing to say but is it possible that maybe, just maybe, our players and team are actually a bit better than some of us give them credit for? I dunno…….food for thought at the very least, although I doubt very much if certain people will take a nibble.

We came. We smashed. We grabbed.

Nice to be on the dishing-out end of one of those for a change. If I were a Watford fan, I would be feeling mightily aggrieved.

Will take that all day long. Hopefully a few more lessons learned for this team. Two tricky fixtures navigated in three days, and Everton taking a knock too. All good. Fingers crossed Dembele is okay.

Would be in 2nd if not for surrendering the late goal against Newcastle. Really hope that point doesn't come back to haunt us in the end.

Great finish by Son, and I'm impressed that we actually saw it out in the end despite the pressure. Was almost expecting Watford to nick it, as our players looked very defeated. Love it when we pull the win out of our asses like that.

That goal doesn't excuse that abject shit we turned in for the last 20 minutes.

Pathetic lack of urgency from all involved but will take the 3 points, huge result.

I think it was less a lack of urgency and more nerves kicking in. There was suddenly a lot of pressure on them to win it and even more pressure on them not to lose it, and they handled it terribly.

Nevertheless, we've beaten one of the in form sides away from home. Celebrations are in order.

Three points from the top of the league!!

Incredibly important win.

Great effort by all.

People can stfu about poch not being flexible/creative now - that was practically psychedelic.

Was always clear he'd make sure we were 4231 solid before mixing it up.

Harry Kane MoM like a mthfkr. Amazing effort from him across the two games.

Oh, and as much as I like you Gomes, that's what you get for chattin' shit about us - back flick, nutmeg banged by sonny! :woot:Braaaap!

That was the most important win of the season so far, in terms of seizing an opportunity by the balls. For the first time this season, I think we have a realistic shot of finishing in the top 4. Older Spurs sides would have limped to a draw (or even a smash-and-grab loss) in this game; this side got the 3 points by hook or by crook. Love it!

Shit. That was hard work.
I just watched the final 15 minutes in a staff meeting on my iPad in my lap, AND I managed to keep quiet when Son scored.
Me for the win.

Also Eriksen was the only one pulling strings and finding players (and Trippier did ok with his crosses), good performance from him.

Players can have a well deserved rest now, hope it's nothing serious with Dembele.
