I still think we are overrated and it will take a long time for the injured players to be back to full fitness and make an impact on the team. I think we should just focus entirely on the CL though i do not rate our chances at all.

I do not even mind losing some of our so-called star players as they are really not that good after all. With the exception of Kane, i the rest can be sold for all i care. Let the rebuilding begin. We might even need a new coach! I am wondering if Poch's book did have an impact on the players.

There is having a moan mate and then there is extremist views like this which is a bit over the top.

The players look absolutely fucked and I can't understand why?

I've never seen Kane walking around the pitch when the ball is within 5 yards of him.

Probably because whenever he went anywhere near the ball Watford reverted to the 1860's rules of being allowed to hack at opponents' shins rather than actually going for the ball.

No one is covering themselves in glory. Even Kane looks run down.

Probably from trying to carry us half fit. Shame we couldn’t have bought another decent striker, but that’s obviously too much to ask.

More conviced than ever before having witnessed this that we need to rest everybody for Apoel. If Kane so much as leaves the dugout to do some warming up on Wednesday I fear he'll snap something. Eriksen, Alli and Jan looked shot as well.

I cannot fathom what Pochettino sees in this game that suggests Sissoko is a better first option than Lamela or Winks. We desperately needed to regain control of the ball, and put on a player who doesn't do the simple stuff well at all. I understand if Lamela was being restricted by the medical staff to 15 mins at max but we needed Winks on a lot earlier.

11 changes for Wenesday please. And no Kane, Jan, Alli or Eriksen even on the bench.

We should have kept Son on. He has speed to counter and take players on. With 10 men we need that outlet.

I won't fault Alli for effort however he's who I would have sacrificed instead.

He doesn't have many touches when we have 11 men lets be honest.

True, but we've been shit since he's been out.
Indisputably so but it seems that people have latched on this notion that his inclusion would have solved all our woes and we'd be on the coat-tails of Man City when the evidence suggested when fit is that he was playing under par for his ability this season anyway.

Our problems are specifically our attitude and application to games - especially in the opening halves where we've been incredibly passive.

No comments on BBC about penalty at the end, so maybe it wasn't clear cut. We are going through a dip, because of long injuries to important cogs in our machine. These players will come back rested, though. This is not the part of the year when major things are won, funnily enough.

Can't believe that we have gone from the high of the Real Madrid result to this in such a short space of time.

I don't get it - from the greatest of highs - it all went to the floor in a few weeks.

An occasional bad day at the office is understandable but there's something rotten going on - collectively the players are
more or less the same - there is something missing - it can't be the referees fault every game.

Still dumbfounded and not made better by the rise of other sides around us.

He was the poor relation to Vertonghen this year - let's not pretend otherwise.
I agree Jan has been the outstanding defender this season but perhaps it’s because
They work so well together and Jan can play better alongside Toby. Defences are about continuity and we have seen before how changing up too much causes problems.

I just feel like we haven't got to the stage yet where we are too good for the FA cup. Realistically, it is our best chance of silverware this season.

We aren’t too good for any cup IMO, we have won one league cup since 2000 and that is it.

I think they should all be given this week off to go somewhere warm on holiday. They all look knackered.

Probably goes for all of us that too!

Maybe. His performances hadn't been of the same level as they were in previous seasons but you can't dismiss the calmness and organisation he brings to the defence as a whole. It wouldn't surprise me if that's had an impact on Sanchez as he's gone from looking like he'd been playing in the PL for several years when he first started to being shaky, indecisive and making mistakes in the last few games.
