More conviced than ever before having witnessed this that we need to rest everybody for Apoel. If Kane so much as leaves the dugout to do some warming up on Wednesday I fear he'll snap something. Eriksen, Alli and Jan looked shot as well.

I cannot fathom what Pochettino sees in this game that suggests Sissoko is a better first option than Lamela or Winks. We desperately needed to regain control of the ball, and put on a player who doesn't do the simple stuff well at all. I understand if Lamela was being restricted by the medical staff to 15 mins at max but we needed Winks on a lot earlier.

11 changes for Wenesday please. And no Kane, Jan, Alli or Eriksen even on the bench.

If we as fans wanted Poch to rest the first team then the last 3 results are worst thing that could've happened. He'll see it as opportunity to get back to winning ways and won't want another draw or even loss. It'll be the first team except maybe Kane now.

How can the same group of players look so devoid of attacking ideas and toothless? United, Palace, Arsenal, West Brom, Leicester, Watford

4 goals, 5 points and conceded first in 5 of 6 (6/7 if you count dortmund).

Makes horrible reading...

Ah good old Spurs. It's going to be a really special season this year. We'll come 5th in the League and lose the Champions League final. ;)

I don't get it - from the greatest of highs - it all went to the floor in a few weeks.

An occasional bad day at the office is understandable but there's something rotten going on - collectively the players are
more or less the same - there is something missing - it can't be the referees fault every game.

Still dumbfounded and not made better by the rise of other sides around us.

I still don’t think the squad is good enough. Yes the depth looks marginally better than last season, but there’s not that much in it. There certainly isn’t much genuine competition for places.

Many fans weren’t particularly impressed by the transfer window. It wasn’t a disaster, but it wasn’t pushing on which is what you need to do to make the difference or even just stay where you are. If you stand still in football you effectively go backwards and unfortunately this is how it’s starting to play out.

We smashed Liverpool and Real Madrid immediately after that came out. Easy excuse.
There are enough people at other teams and in the media who want to do us down and unsettle us. It is incomprehensible to me why Poch has assisted them and risked undermining the good work he has done. What benefit to our club has this book provided? None. Why do we always end up with the managers who cannot keep their mouths shut. I thought those days were over after Redknapp and Sherwood but it appears I was wrong.

a straight red is 3 games regardless. Violent conduct means it can be increased to more though if they feel it was particularly bad
A straight red for a professional foul wouldn't be 3 matches. But Sanchez will get 3 matches as it was dangerous

We should have kept Son on. He has speed to counter and take players on. With 10 men we need that outlet.

I won't fault Alli for effort however he's who I would have sacrificed instead.

He doesn't have many touches when we have 11 men lets be honest.

Son will generally do the random spectacular which is why I would have liked him left up there.

Maybe. His performances hadn't been of the same level as they were in previous seasons but you can't dismiss the calmness and organisation he brings to the defence as a whole. It wouldn't surprise me if that's had an impact on Sanchez as he's gone from looking like he'd been playing in the PL for several years when he first started to being shaky, indecisive and making mistakes in the last few games.
I'd argue Sanchez has had his best games without Alderweireld present.

Trust me, i'm not trying to be argumentative suggesting Toby's injury hasn't been detrimental to our overall form this year - as has Wanyama's - but feel there's a more troublesome mentality problem that has continually reared its head and that's clearly been evident with our home performances this year.

The book has nothing to do with our form. Get a fucking grip.

I hope you're wrong. The Goons changed it up for EL games even when their league form was poor and it's worked for them. Rest really is sometimes more important for morale than winning.

The FA cup is not as important at top four.

It might not be as important but it will bring and shit load of confidence to the club and players.Maybe it wont keep some players staying but it will surely bring a boost to the young players we got like Winks,Lamela etc.As a Spurs fan for the past 40 odd years I will love to see us we an open bus parade along the high road with are new ground. We need to build slowly and that's what Poch and Levy are doing wisely.

Ouch - does the 'Poch out' movement start here?
No, it doesn't. However, we have seen signs of problems in the squad and this book doesn't help. I sincerely hope that this is not the beginning of the slippery slope but sadly it could be. We have all seen Spurs managers lose the plot and eventually lose their job.

The players look absolutely fucked and I can't understand why?

I've never seen Kane walking around the pitch when the ball is within 5 yards of him.
When Kane being the fittest of the team looked like a knackered old man, it just doesn't bode well to the pressing mentality.

Still think our issues are coming from CM. Dier/dembele doesn’t work now Dembele legs have gone. He literally offers nothing no creativity nothing. He can’t even run with the ball now. It has to be winks and another . Or eriksen winks Lamela in a 3.
