This is a massive, massive game. Based on quality, we win this 100%. Based on mentality, we lose this 99%, due to the following:

1. We are expected to win. There are no guaranteed wins, but based on quality and form, we definitely are expected to win. We have a way of wilting in these circumstances.
2. If we win, we top the table. We just don't deal well with facing table topping. We crack.
3. We have an early kickoff. For some reason, we play poorly in these games. It really bugs me, because, whoever we face, it's an early game for them as well, so all things should be equal in that regard.
4. We play before a few other teams who are considered contenders for Top 4, and a win will put slight pressure on the rest vying for top spot. Our response to this type of scenario is well known.

If we win this, I don't think we'll win the title, but we will have seen a massive mentality shift to a team that CAN win the title.

If we go 1.0 up early, which we should, and then sit back in our own half for 70mins I swear to God...

I agree with those saying we need to win the battle, butyours is the more important point- this belief we can sit back and run the clock down is not an approach any contender has ever got away with. This obsession with not being countered on needs to be put to one side. Attack is the best form of defence, especially given our strengths and weaknesses

Today's the day we find out if Jose is changing the mentality but I fear a Spursy result. Last prem game WBA at home won was against us! They will defend deep and it will be a set piece or dodgy VAR decision that gives them their first win of the season. No need to pay to watch, we know how it ends!
