Got to win the scrap for the quality to prevail though!

Thankfully PEH loves a good scrap so I think we'll win handsomely.

4-1...Kane hatrick.

It's the necessity to scrap and maintain a bit of fluidity at the same time though. I don't doubt our ability to scrap on occasion or undermine the importance to do so but it's also important for us to try and achieve a good balance.

I know the other team has an influence but if it's say for instance, 90% scrap and 10% 'football' like you could say it was at Burnley, we will eventually come off short in games where our quality should really see us win comfortably.

If we had any ability to do that we'd be well away at the top by now. We keep handing the initiative back to teams we're comfortably beating and conceding ridiculous goals.

Just work hard and our superior quality will take over.

But turn up and don't compete for the second balls and individual battles that's when we could be in trouble.

Today, our ongoing dose of culture takes us to Staffordshire

West Bromwich was first mentioned as Bromwic ('broom village') in the Domesday Book of 1086. It is believed that it may have originally been part of the Handsworth parish. A Benedictine priory existed in West Bromwich from the 12th century around which the settlement of Broomwich Heath grew. In 1727, the town became a stop on the coaching road between London and Shrewsbury and the beginning of its growth dates from this time. The prefix 'West' serves to distinguish it from the village of Castle Bromwich, around 8 miles (13 km) to the east on the other side of Birmingham

In the 19th century, coal deposits were discovered, ensuring that the town grew rapidly as an industrial centre, with industries such as spring, gun and nail making developing. Well before the end of the 19th century, West Bromwich had established itself as a complete shithole to match older neighbouring shitholes including Dudley and Walsall.

There you go. Philistines.

Ive decided to be pragmatic.
Again no disrespect to WBA-should win this-away form very good and generally playing well. Our forwards are on form and scoring more up top than defence letting goals in at the rear. COYS

We just need to keep picking up points. League position is irrelevant at this time of year but form isn't and we need to keep going and show we can put a run together like the big boys.

I work with a West Brom fan and asked her wtf happened against Fulham. She thinks Bilic is actively looking for the sack...

Actually looking forward to this. Good thing about watching a stream is that when I'm really nervous that we may concede (like from a set piece) I quickly check the Sky Sports app live scores on my phone to ensure we haven't ?

Am excited for if we eventually see Bergwijn or Bale make an appearance tomorrow too, thought they both looked improved on Thursday.

We have to win this one. In recent times it's been this kind of situation we blow, but we need those three points. Especially with the fixtures we have coming after the international break.....

Not won a match yet this lot have they, what could possibly go wrong.... Lol

We rarely seize the opportunity when we have a chance to go top of the league so hoping this is the beginning of a more solid and mentally strong Spurs.
