Always thought we were one elite CB away from being a ‘complete’ team with no obvious weaknesses, but if that’s our formation going forward we need a long term replacement for Sissoko. Thomas Partey-esque.

Sissoko is pointless in these games. No space to get behind them and he doesn't have any guile.

Provides the best balance of our midfielders at the moment though next to Hobjberg, it probably won't be pretty but we'd most probably win, I'm sure Jose wants to guarantee the 3 points.

No Winks surprises me.

Jose's worked out that Winks is more suited to Europe & Internationals than battling at WBA or Burnley. When plays in Europe though he has show that his passing is good enough to get him into any team Jose puts out & currently it isn't.

I’m looking forward to Jose working out Winks is more suited to not being in the squad at all

I'd say GLC gives us better balance, but maybe he's not fit enough.

I know SC generally disagrees, but I reckon Jose has Sissoko in his best 11. Even if that means Gio/Tanguy miss out

But he can run and close opposition down and cover Doherty

Kind of sick we play one player in the heart of our midfield only because he can run and cover.

I know balance is important but still frustrating as hell.

I know, great isn't it. I love the energy he brings to the side + he's able to cover Doherty as he jogs back after a failed run/cross/pass up the pitch
