Couldn't believe what I was hearing at WHL today. Not only is that song blatantly ripped off from Liverpool, it's an annoying song with a dreary tune, hard to understand lyrics that are a round out of date now anyway.

All of you cease and desist immediately for fucks sake.

I’ve got no problem if we rip off other teams songs. Is there a national register of football chants that limits each song to one team? Didn’t we rip off the Sheffield United fans song a couple of years ago too, and you know “When the saints go marching in.”

If people are singing and having fun at the game, and creating an atmosphere it doesn’t fucking matter where the song came from.

My only issue with Allez allez allez songs is that they sound far too much like Crocodile Rock by Elton John :ROFLMAO:

Hi guys, new here, I've been to the lane today and in Amsterdam on Wednesday..

I heard a song which I can't understand the words(sorry, I m Italian) and goes by like this

Oh eh oh -completely miss this one-
Oh eh oh -something like "20 times a year"-
Oh eh oh - something that end with "All the way"

And then it repeat the same verses

It was

Oh eh oh - Tottenham's in Madrid
Oh eh oh - 20,000 Yids
Oh eh oh - Tottenham's going all the way

Well said that man. The stadium is absolutely astonishing (well done Donna) but the people in it.... give me fucking strength.

Almost all football songs are ripped off.
West Ham were singing "we've got Payet" a year before we sang "we've got Dele"

Tottenham, Southampton and Man United all sing "oh when the **** go marching in"
It's rife everywhere.

Its not the tune that annoys me its why bother putting he is better than Ozil - are we that obsessed by other players and teams that we need to include Ozil in all this? Just seems like because Ozil fits into the song we just dump it in...

It just fits with the song. He was one of their biggest signings, one of the most marquee they've made. They're our rivals, etc.

I shudder when I hear "stand up if you hate arsenal" when we're not playing them.

Some of these are so bad but I think this could be my favourite thread on the forum!

The Allez Allez Allez stuff is dreadful, just embarrassing.

This however..................

Ole ole courtesy of FCB. I was at that game and the contrast with and then without the clapping works really well. They also kept it up for 10 minutes which was pretty impressive. The drummer helps too. (Apologies for the portrait video)

Why doesn’t anyone sing “Dirty Northern Bastards” anymore?

If Leeds get promoted, I look forward to our fans singing “Jimmy Saville, he’s one of your own”.

Not a fan of all this band set up. What is this fad of going mad and singing everywhere but in-front of the pitch aswell? Weird.

"[INSERT ANY TEAM] boys making all the noise" is fucking terrible. It's so generic, it has nothing Spurs about it, it's just a song for morons.

Can we stop that chant please, especially at home because it's a FUCKING AWAY TEAM song.

And also the stand up if you hate song. Who cares about Arsenal any more?
