Negredo has been one of the best strikers in the world in the last 9 months. He's just a total goal-scoring machine, which is why I was desperate for us to sign him last January.

The biggest difference between Negredo and Soldado has always been Negredo's ability to score goals in the air and from distance with his left foot. Soldado just doesn't have the shooting or physical attributes of Negredo, but his movement in the box is superior. We won't get the best out of Soldado until he plays with wing players who play with their head up looking for his runs.
