I think its expected that the confederations cup players wont be on show, also I read Eto'o is back on the 20th so I am skeptical if him and Messi and Henry could be playing

In england we are used to the players having intensive fitness training before friendlies but I have heard in europe they like to just throw the players in so expect it to be a strolling pace game!

wow, will barca even bother turning up? Sounds like they don't have any players left?

Confed players: Pique, Puyol, Dani Alves, Xavi

Injured (?): Iniesta, Marquez.

Back too late (according to above post): Eto'o.

That leaves?

Valdes

Abidal - Caceres - Milito -Sylvinho

Keita- Y. Toure - Hleb

Bojan - Messi - Henry?

Colour me unimpressed.

This place will go nuts if we beat Barca...it'll be like when we beat Orient 5-1 with only Darren Bent upfront.

scorelikeanegyptian -

you can definately rule Bojan out of that line up as he's not back from his hols until after wembley due to u-21 euros. Sylvinho looks like possibly leaving the club too. Barring injuries or sales though Messi, Henry, Valdes, Keita, Yaya, Caceres and Milito should be there. They're likely to have a few youngsters like Pedro playing too. Don't forget there will also be any new signings there (except for David Villa). You never know, Eto'o may still be there also.

Let's not be too downhearted though, we get to see best player on the planet in Messi and get to boo Thierry Henry - happy days.

Kerrison (sp?) ?

from what I've read and heard coming from Spain it's likely that Kerrison will go on loan immediately to Valencia as part of the Villa deal should it go through. From the noises Laporta is making though Barca expect to sign 2-3 more players apart from Villa this summer.

Spurs-Barca is going to be the highlight. When was the last time we played a non English team with a similar status.

Just got a text from my brother saying that he's managed to get some tickets for my birthday.

I really wanted to go and see Spurs-Barca. However tickets were too expensive for me...until I looked tonight, grabbed 4 @ £29 a pop! Lovely! Can't wait, gonna be a great day. Wembley here I come!
