I thought the only difference between bronze and lilywhite was being on the waiting list? If so it makes the poor uptake surprising.
bronze got a days headstart on tickets until the last season, but turned out they only sold 1000 tickets that day so was a bit of a con...

I'm assuming people who don't have the best part of a grand available to them when they get offered a season ticket. It's why I lost mine a few years back (although thankfully got one again now).
This isn't a new thing though - they've been the best part of a grand for years!

But presumably most people on the waiting list haven't had season tickets before, and probably didn't expect one if they were at 25k+. If you didn't either anticipate the very low demand, happen to have money saved/accessible anyway or have good enough credit for the finance plan, you're stuffed.

My situation was different, I'd been out of work a bit the previous season, had therefore gone through savings and didn't have much credit history either way due to my age so couldn't afford the upfront payment.

I wonder what the club are thinking regarding the poor take up of season tickets at Wembley. I've gotten one, simply because at 36,000 on the waiting list I didn't want to waste my chance of getting one at the new stadium. As I believe people in front of me will take up the season tickets remaining once we are back home. Still though, I won't be able to go every week, and 90,000 seats was going to make reselling it hard enough when I didn't need it. This will just make it worse.

how many season tickets will be remaining once we are back home, once the door closes on this one, ...that's it, except for a trickle, of course we could bom, but i don't think we will, which means it'll be years getting one

This thread is killing me. Not on the list. Came off a few years ago, wanted to go back on last season with my Dad and best mate, even though I can't justify the money. I know I wouldn't really have bee able to afford it, but

I only went back on the list to get the multi game packages - I could then arrange work around the games I was definitely going to. At 58000 I didn't even give thought to a season ticket.....how to word to the Mrs that her birthday and Christmas has been cancelled for the foreseeable!

They will sell out most of the games if not all. I see this as an investment. If I have the money I can buy a season ticket next year. Posty delivered mine just now. Only brought it on Wednesday!

I wish they were that quick at buying a quality new player:(

What about the thought that she can have match days free ... of you ... and it's all about giving her her own space

Feel free to name me as the beneficiary of the ST in your will, just in case.

Must say that I debated long and hard about buying a ST because i believe for some fixtures there will be heavy discounting to get as many tickets sold as possible.

Still bought as it's all about next season - but looking for some sort of payback from the club if this does arise

Not a chance. We'll sell out 3 or maybe 4 of the 19.

depending on how we are doing, but i'd expect 6-8 sell outs, Arse, Chel, Wet spam, Man U & C, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton. the rest I'd expect 55-60

this is the reason I believe we are not in a position at the moment to be able to offer players a wage increase especially with a big debt having to be paid off by December and the rent we have to pay Wembley

I can understand this and I'm not even a ST holder (though small poss I might by end of July pending on disabled waiting list), but 1 i'd rather if there was a chance to sell out every game, then it needs to be done. 1, it helps the club, 2, it might help the atmosphere, and 3, it won't happen every week, and those that do gain cheap tickets this season, won't have a hope in the NWHL

edit: plus if they where to sell out cheaply it means that those with a ST might get something back for missing a game. as I said in a post above I don't believe we will have that many sell outs, but might be a lot more if they do offer them up cheap. perhaps if they did it as family packages it will help draw the next generation to us
