Have to say, the ticket exchange vs actual sold is not nice to see.
Suggests to me a lot of people have season tickets they don't intend to use.
I wonder if spurs will look at this towards the end of the season and decide whether those such fans should be allowed to renew?
I definitely think that ticket exchange usage should be limited to a set number of games per season, somewhere around 3-5 games. With a game every other week, on average, you'd have to be on holiday/otherwise engaged for 10 weeks of the 9 month season to miss that many games.

It's ridiculous I don't think the club should allow a resale platform at all. Then people who genuinely can and want to be at the games will be.

There will be times when people genuinely won't be able to go despite wanting to and may not be able to pass their ticket onto a mate. If someone is putting their seat up for resale for every game then you'd like to think the club would recognise it and put a halt to it. Perhaps a limit of say five games per season for resale would discourage those who bought a season ticket to try and make money out of it whilst not penalising those who will miss games they otherwise would want to attend.

Also, it's pretty annoying, although not entirely surprising to see that despite the club clearly stating that the blocks in the lower tier behind the West Stand goal would be the 'home end'/singing area/Park Lane equivalent for all European games last season, then reiterating this would be the case for all of this season when the Wembley deal was fully confirmed, and again when season tickets were put up for renewal and then sale that some people from the Paxton and other areas who want to sit down and be quiet all game went and bought their tickets in those blocks and spent practically the whole game yelling at people to sit down when virtually the entire block is stood up. I mean it's not as if there was ever a point in the season ticket sale periods where those were the only blocks available, or that the club didn't on numerous occasions state that this is where people who want to stand and sing should buy their seats.

I won't mention where I was sat but I'll be honest something that happened with me today really fucked me off...
Basically someone told me to sit down constantly and complained to a steward about me...
The steward listened to the complaint of the person asking me to constantly sit down...
The person was wearing a Chelsea baseball cap in our fucking end telling me to sit down...
Actually having a fucking laugh & the stewards looked fucking baffled when I pointed this out as if to say so what fucking absolute shambles.

Are you taking the piss? How many seats sold on the exchange qualifies for your cull exactly?

Lots to do pre game and decent view if too far away.

Look, it's not the best stadium to watch football but it's for one season and will enjoy and make the most of it.

Strong 74k crowd today - not bad for late August lol.

Let's get behind the club

Edit - Chelsea will get to be here 3/4 years IF there ground makes next stage - big lol

Was worried my seats in Block 122 row 11 would be too close ( same row as WHL in East Lower, but obviously Wembley is a bit different ).

Was pleasantly surprised. 5 or 10 rows further up would have been ideal, but all in all a cracking view.

Shame I had to watch the usual story of being the better team for large parts of the game, but still losing to those fuckers.

Seems a strange thing to say so early in the season but Burnley is a must win now.

Couple of words on refreshments etc.

Was really happy with my £2.5 bottle of water :rolleyes:. Well I say bottle, but apparently a tiny plastic bottle is too damn dangerous and a plastic cup far more safe.

Sarcasm aside, one pleasant surprise was Guinness on draught! :) Didn't partake today as I arrived too close to kick off ( don't ever see the point of drinking at HT), but if in future I'm there in good time before kick off I will be partaking. Even if £5.90 a pint is taking the complete piss.

It's weird though, because at the CL games last year no alcohol was served at all before or during the match.

UEFA and FA have different alcohol rules I think.

This seems the place for tickets. No longer have season ticket as too many commitments, but as a group of 3, got a ticket today. Then when we arrived the seats were covered with the material and we were told they weren't for sale..got reseated and later saw that they moved the cover. Little bit of a shambles really.

I paid £3.30 for a warm, flat cup of Coke. I genuinely felt like I had been mugged.

I asked for some ice and they told me that was impossible.

I had the raw pizza.

Even though I hate the idea of it and a football game, I was really tempted to get some pick and mix. Don't tell @Gb160 it will ruin my street cred :cautious:
