They convince the stewards they're setting up a 4x100 relay and they wallies fall for it.
They should issue the stewards with a PW and a bucket of balls, it’d be like trying to plonk the golf ball on top of the poor sod collecting the balls down the driving range...

Thought the scapegoats...sorry full backs were shit tonight, we should sell them now along with Trippier and Davies and play the fastest youth players we have there.

The guys made some lovely open field tackles and kicked the soccer ball very well offensively.

20 dreadful minutes in the second half, but a good performance other than that. Closed the game out well after 3-1.

Delighted for Foyth, Winks and Skipp for his debut. KWP and Aurier failed to impress, but worst of all was Wanyama. He's lost it after 18 months of injury problems and I don't have much faith he'll get back to 16/17 level any time soon.

The full backs were fine IMO, KWP especially had a decent match, certainly enough to see them picked over the current starters

In fairness to the pitch invaders maybe they are trying to find the toilets!
Its like America trying to secure the border with Mexico...the distances are just too vast to police properly.
Maybe West Ham should build a wall?

Foyth MOM, closely followed by Winks.
Shout out to KWP as well. He has some shaky moments, but was brave and stuck to his task against a much bigger and more aggressive player trained in the dark arts of falling over anytime anyone gets near him.

Lets give a big hand to the pitch invaders - incredible endurance to make it across the outfield and reach the grass, that must take some dedication and training, tikaboo, lads (y)

Definitely progress from last year from the lesser squad players. I like the trajectory of improvement in the youngsters.

I agree, but also it definitely helps having someone like Eriksen amongst them to help, otherwise we can look very disjointed.

Thought Sanchez and Foyth were really excellent today. Winks had a good first half and somewhat faded in the second, Dele was ok but looked to play some clever through balls, Eriksen knitted the play well and Son looked back his normal self. Thought it was a tough evening for KWP, did well at times though but bullied a but also. Could he do with bulking up a bit? Gazza made some good saves again but maybe not the most commanding in the air and a bit hesitant at times. He has changed my views though and I would still prefer him to Vorm regardless.
