@Trees Spam rate me as much as you like, but the plain truth is we have been shit for a long time, but somehow we keep winning, so I stand by my statement.

That was great - love seeing some of our fringe players do well - Foyth looks fantastic.

At last a proper team performance, so many positives. Foyth was outstanding, Sanchez, Aurier and KWP also did very well as did Winks and Wanyama. Great to see Son back in the goals and smiling again. Eriksen had a decent game too, Alli was average but it was vital match practice. Gazzaniga made a very good save but was a liability at corners and his kicking is shocking. Glad Llorente got a goal but other than that he was a spectator.

Team performance, what a difference playing 2 quick full backs makes, hopefully they both start against Wolves and not the sloth’s.

Aurier or KWP werent necessarily great but honestly, MUCH better performances than Trippier or Davies have had all season so one of them should start at RB on Saturday. Winks and Son played well. Foyth and Sanchez were great. Dele, Eriksen and Llorente were okay. Wanyama was, in a word, shit. Those injuries have really taken there toll sadly.

20 dreadful minutes in the second half, but a good performance other than that. Closed the game out well after 3-1.

Delighted for Foyth, Winks and Skipp for his debut. KWP and Aurier failed to impress, but worst of all was Wanyama. He's lost it after 18 months of injury problems and I don't have much faith he'll get back to 16/17 level any time soon.

I thought Wanyama was better tonight.

It was never comfortable, they probably had the best 'moments' in and around goal throughout, but neither were we ever hanging on and we scrambled well when required. Managed to play at a fairly low tempo, rotate the squad, give some youngsters minutes, and book our place in the next round. Not bad all in all.

Thought the scapegoats...sorry full backs were shit tonight, we should sell them now along with Trippier and Davies and play the fastest youth players we have there.

The guys made some lovely open field tackles and kicked the soccer ball very well offensively.

This is either a poor attempt at satire or a poor attempt at analysis.

Its like America trying to secure the border with Mexico...the distances are just too vast to police properly.
Maybe West Ham should build a wall?
yep but hard to say whether it will be to keep them in or out!:D
